#RedWings have the day off, but not center Darren Helm who is on the ice here at JLA in full gear for the first time in a long time.

Zetterberg has been playing his ass off too. Last night Brunner got roughed up by O'Brien and on the same shift Hank put a rare but hard check into O'Brien. Fucking Awesome! It's prolly been awhile since a Captain on the Red Wings has stuck up for one of his own. MVP is Jimmy then Brunner then a tie Hank & Pavel.

Do it. You won't regret it. Gus actually picked up his game in the 3rd, when the Wings were already down 3-0. A little bit late, though.

Two goals were turnovers behind the net and point-blank shots, and the other was a PP goal where they cut in the middle of the ice and had a top-of-the-slot/point-blank shot.

His cross-crease recovery save was fantastic and is more indicative of his general positioning issues sometimes, but I don't think Monster was the beneficiary of the level of defense the Wings had put up the previous few games.
