Okay, so I was wondering when a Skyrim thread would show up, and to the best of my knowledge, there hasn't been one yet. Anyway though, I am very excited for this game to come out, and I know I am not the only one here who is looking forward to November 11th. So let this be the RCMB one stop shop for all things Skyrim!

i really hope it tends to go back to the morrowind game play. it seems like they really dumbed (not a word, i know) oblivion down so it was more marketable to the average person. IMO the level of detail in morrowind is what makes tES great as a series.

I need a separate clock counting down to this game. Looks like a major step up from Oblivion, which was still pretty good. Morrowind is still my favorite of their games though.

I never came close to finishing Morrowind. That game was HUGE. I'm the type of guy who wants to explore every place, try every quest, etc. just to get the full value of the game.
Didn't really play Oblivion. Skyrim looks amazing but it sounds like they've toned down some of the character customization. That might irk some hardcore RPGers.

I expect it to be, I mean in the E3 demo it shows that every item in the game can be viewed up close and in 3D. That is a pretty high level of detail. The main thing that I fell in love with about oblivion was the open world, and the ability to do anything and go anywhere that I wanted, and it looks like Skyrim is going to take that to the extreme and I cant wait.

Never been that huge on Scrolls compared to Fallout or Mass Effect, I'll still get this launch day though. It has some tough comp though with the carrier game.
