In the writeup of Arya, I left out the part where she hands an axe to Jagen H'ghar in the burning cart so the three men can escape instead of burning to death.
Now knowing what 1995 is like all over again! Thank you 247 technology!!

To follow up on your write up I did pause and read the letter that was burned. It said his father had rejected the deal and they would not be fighting with them. It also warned Robb that they would be attacking the north and that Robb needed to send men with quickness to defend(but in more words).

The very end says "I will write you again as soon as I am able . . . ."
Letter was not in the books, but I like that they added it; makes it show how much Theon really does love Robb.
Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.

She was fantastic and very hot as Boleyn in the Tudors. I hope they can use her to her full potential in GoT.

Lots happened tonight and a few new people introduced. Did anyone catch the name of the girl who got Robb's attention at the beginning? I'll try to have a summary again tomorrow morning, hope I remember most the episode by then. I think I might have to reread some of hte book to help me out as well. Especially with Qarth.

She was talking about Lannisport though, and caring for Lannister soldiers, so I believe it would be Jeyne.

Having only watched the show and not having read the books, would the story/plot be as good without the crazy stuff like whitewalkers/zombies, dragons, and a sorceress queefing out a monster?

Sort of. The human actions far outweigh the magic happenings in terms of importance in the story, but there's also a lot of hints that magic is slowly creeping back into the world in importance and frequency.
