That's the only reason I think that it is possible that they'll sell both (or all three if you include Clichy), because Wenger has this habit of selling players just as they're reaching their peak, and replacing them with youth.
I seriously start to wonder if it's all about job security. The pressure should be on him to do better with this squad. So he goes with another youth movement and he has a built in excuse for the next 4-5 years that the team is too young. As a rival, I'd like to see it play out like that again. But on the other hand, I like a strong Arsenal to help fight off Chelsea and City.

arsenal's fans take of the Clichy thing here.... not surprised.... being in the last year of his contract... if he wants to sign for another 5 years.. cool... if not... go!!! it is like arsenal have in the last 20-30 years have good left back after good left back... kenny sansom then nigel winterburn then ashley cole now clichy.... and we have the next ones behind him in Kieran Gibbs and Armand Traore (who spent last season out on loan at juve)
so if it is clear he isn't signing... get as much as we can....
I still think the moment arsenal threaten to take barcelona to fifa for taping up cesc is the moment that situation will finally be sorted... because we all see exactly what is happening... they will then back off or stump up
after the dust has cleared... I think clichy is gone, cesc stays and so will nasri.... I do expect bendtner , denilson , Rosicky and Eboue to go....

Just curious because I don't follow this aspect too much, but does FIFA EVER actually do anything when a team is blatantly tapping up a player? Barca have been tapping up Cesc for over a year now, and I assume they don't fear anything from FIFA.
Re Arsenal, I think Cesc is as good as gone. I do think they'll sort out this contract extension with Nasri, but will gladly take 7 million for Clichy (it's Gibbs' time now, and Traore can stay in the side next year rather than going out on loan again).
I agree that Bendtner, Denilson, 'Sicky will all be out the door (although if anyone will take Denilson remains to be seen). I hadn't heard about Eboue being on the market, but wouldn't be surprised to see him trying to find playing time somewhere else.

North Korean women officially eliminated by Sweden this morning. They'll no doubt face plenty of physical punishment and public shaming when they return home. Is anybody else surprised that we don't hear about a massive flood of defections every time a North Korean team leaves the country for competition? Happens with Cuba all the time, and conditions there are WAY better than they are under the dear leader.

Semi-finals of the U-17 World Cup are set after Germany's win over England (3-2) and Mexico's win over France (2-1).
This Thursday, Uruguay will face off vs. Brazil in Guadalajara. Later that afternoon, Mexico will play against Germany in my hometown (Torreon).
In Copa America action, Peru surprisingly tied Uruguay, 1-1. Mexico's depleted U-22 team (plus GIo Dos Santos) somehow didn't embarrass itself, but still lost against Chile (2-1).

Mexico moves on to the U-17 World Cup Final after a 3-2 win and a ridiculous comeback vs. Germany.
The Germans took a 2-1 lead halfway through the 2nd half. Mexico tied with 10 minutes to go with a goal straight from a corner, and then scored the game winner in stoppage time (a bicycle kick).
Mexico will face Uruguay (who beat Brazil 3-0) this Sunday at Estadio Azteca.
