tOfficial Jerry Sandusky Trial Thread

  • From ABC:

His testimony also described how Sandusky's wife, Dottie, once walked in on them during sex. He was sharing a hotel room with Sandusky and his wife on a trip to an away football game in which Sandusky tried to force him to have oral sex in the bathroom.

"He came in and started to push down on me to motion me to go down there. I resisted but didn't say anything but was hesitant, and he said, 'You don't want to go back to Snow Shoe do you?'" Victim 4 said, referring to the town where he was living at the time. "He was trying to get me to give him oral sex and threatening me if not."

"What happened then is literally 10 seconds later, the bathroom door is not shut completely... and the other door is open, and I heard Dottie say 'Jerry' and he ran out. And she said, 'What are you doing in there?'" Victim 4 testified.

There have been many instances where police agencies have tried to infiltrate NAMBLA with undercover cops and make arrests or see how deep it goes/who are the members. Lots of those agents have ended up dead. That gives rise to the suspicion that cover is being blown for some of these agents and that someone higher up in the police force, politician, etc. is blowing that cover.

There are actually politicians that advocate for some of NAMBLA's policies (abolishing age of consent laws). In testimony before the US Senate, NAMBLA was exonerated from any criminal activities and the senate concluded that "It is the pedophile with no organized affiliations who is the real threat of children."

That's the U.S. SENATE saying that NAMBLA is basically ok in their book.

    OK, now that's disgusting...

How was Jerry Sandusky allow to operate in this manner for 15+ years?

Spanier and Schultz are a big part of it. As previously mentioned, they knew about this and decided not to go to the police. Words cannot describe how moronic and dangerous that is. It goes beyond negligence. It is recklessness.

From a victim standpoint, it appears Sandusky used threats to keep them quiet. Furthermore, many victims simply are too embarrassed, scared, hurt and/or depressed to come forward. To them, the emotional trauma for them is bad enough without their stories going public.

The RCMB...is one of the most awful, alarming, inappropriate, disgusting, and offensive msg boards in the history of the internet.

Which, as it appears, is exactly how NAMBLA operates.

Members in power or paid off people of power "looking the other way" and banking on the fear of the victims to keep quiet. When those mechanisms fail...well..nothings proven...

Google "NAMBLA and U.S. Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations."

It took place in the mid 1980s, 1986 I believe. There's also a book, "The Last Undercover:
The True Story of an FBI Agent's Dangerous Dance With Evil", about a former FBI agent who infiltrated the organization.

A quick google search of NAMBLA will reveal a ton of legal cases, controversies, etc. It's a big organization that's got some pretty significant funding. That money has to come from somewhere.

It's not just PSU and those guys though. It's the entire Second Mile Organization. They were aware of at least 2 previous incidents before they finally cut Sandusky off in 2008. Plus the CEO of Second Mile never reported the 2001 or 2008 allegation to the Board of Second Mile.

And don't forget about the prosecutor who investigated the 1998 incident with Sandusky and decided not to press charges.

There was a whole lot of enabling going on by multiple organizations and people and I find it hard to believe that everyone involved was just somehow blindly ignorant of what was going on.

Jerry Sandusky Charity, Second Mile, To Shut Down, Transfer Programs

PHILADELPHIA -- The charity for troubled youths started by Jerry Sandusky more than three decades ago said Friday it is seeking court approval to shut down and transfer its programs to a Texas-based youth ministry that serves abused and neglected children. The Second Mile said it has been financially crippled by the child-sex abuse scandal involving its founder and onetime public face and concluded after a six-month internal review that it had no other option but to close.

The Mystery Of Ray Gricar, The Prosecutor Who Failed To Prosecute Jerry Sandusky (And Who Might Be Dead)

On April 15, 2005, Ray Gricar, the Centre County district attorney, left his office in the countys brick-and-limestone courthouse, got into his red Mini Cooper and drove away. He called his girlfriend, Patricia Fornicola, around 11:30 a.m. to say that he was traveling on Route 192. That was the last anyone heard of Ray Gricar.

He was declared legally dead, but actually he disappeared and was never found.

    Couldnt agree more.

Its amazing( based on what we know to this point) that the powers that be around the University went to such lengths to hide/silence/coverup such hideous actions from a prominent inside member of the establishment in place there.

Is Dottie under any investigation as an accessory? She had to have known what was going on. I don't think she's under indictment but I couldn't find anything online.

I googled it and didn't find anything to support your claims, other than that book, written by Bob Hamer, does exist. What I found is that NAMBLA was never a big organization with significant funding, that infiltration by authorities failed to produce any serious criminal indictments in terms of a massive conspiracy (Hamer's infiltration reportedly resulted in 8 convictions for "travel with intent to have sex with minor boys"), and I found nothing relating to mysterious deaths of undercover agents investigating the organization.

I'll provide a link for the book. It's existence is the only thing you said that I can verify as true.

    ETA:

That's true. They found his computer but couldn't get anything off the damaged drive. DA's make a lot of enemies, so you'd have to look at anyone who did, or had the potential from an ongoing investigation to do, significant time, as a suspect.

Murder over this type crime, seems like a pretty substantial escalation, especially when it's a DA. Seems more the type of thing organized crime or politicians would do. Or is that redundant?
