The guy has held belts at two different weight classes; one which he is outweighed in most fights by 10-15 lbs.

BJ is a natural fighter. You can try to simply out point him ala Frankie, but the only one to ever truly whoop his ass has been Georges.

He is a lock for the HOF.

Which also raises questions regarding the 'supposed' MMA hall of fame. You may as well merge it with the WWF hall. Records don't matter, just marketing $$$$$.

Nice try, dipshit; I call in question the whole HOF criteria for a sport that's been around for what, 18 years?
Couture gets in based on two things: hes a survivor; he has continued to be a decent draw despite his age. and he has provided compelling performances against younger, and much stronger fighters. Which prompts his second reason-the belts he has won.....
The fact that he gets in , despite having to fight to get paid, having to quit the UFC because of Whites' meanderings, is a testament to Couture as an ambassador for other fighters who have been screwed.
That being said, MMA has become a recycling sport, where the same tomatocans are being rotated on cards, based on history, not on their present abilities. Thus, their records becoming increasingly blemished with horrible losses.
Some of these guys should just retire and market the sport since they can probably earn more $$$ now before they get annihilated ........case in point , Liddell, Crocop,Silva, etc
And until a Dana White type starts taking care of these fighters who helped create this market, instead of manipulating them to take 'one more ' golden goose, the sport will have the amateur cockfighting tag on it. The fact that they have a HOF is a bit odd when it still fights the legitimacy label.

How are we not talking about the card this Saturday. Possibly the best fight card in UFC history!
