I ended up buying exactly 0$ worth of pro combat merch.
Not doing my part to get us more stuff, but I think everyone made up for me. They released in the middle of the season while I was busying going to school and partying, the Boise stuff should be out during the summer, I'll buy all that crap.

unless I missed a post, I don't think anyone is hating on my helmets. I do think there are some sketchy helmets out there that are being sold by some other sellers though. Some that I've seen for sale on ebay are just straight up gloss gold with the decals slapped on
. I'm not even a fan of the official one Riddell made for general sale actually. There are some things they didn't exactly get right. For one, the gritty paint texture isn't really gritty like the game used ones were. And second, the darker bronze airbrushing is pretty weak. The game used ones had more coverage around the helmet ridges and vents.
Also, just a head's up - there's a seller that's just taking the Riddell released pro combat, adding a back "SPARTANS" decal to it (and the American Flag which isn't accurate), and then taking a photo of it with a tinted visor on it......but the visor's not included when you get it. Just make sure you read his listing carefully and don't expect to get the visor on it if you win the auction.
