    When is the game?

Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.

Saturday. Practices and interviews all through this week.

Yeah Cunningham impressed in practice as well as the game. Speed is the only knock on him, otherwise it's all praise.

    I believe so.

  • Brian Linthicum (TE/Michigan State) has really impressed all day. He looked very athletic during opening drills and has made several impressive catches in full scrimmage.

Kirk Cousins (QB/Michigan State) has shown the best arm of any signal caller on the North and it's of legitimate NFL strength. He's powered the ball into the tight spots and has challenged the hands of his receivers.

Well, that lessened the chances of somebody sleeping with his girlfriend. Kirk's hands may be more responsible for the team chemistry this year than anybody knows.

  • Any word on Trenton Robinson? So far all of MSU's draft prospects have been representing very well in these showcase games. Cunningham may have solidified himself as a 3rd round pick, KC showing he's got what it takes, Linthicum looking like a pro . . . even Nichol caught a 35+ yard pass.

None so far. He's the shortest of all the DBs at the Senior Bowl though and barely over 5'9. I'm not sure if he's better projected at S or CB in the NFL.

Sounds like Kirk is head and shoulders above Moore and Wilson in arm strength. I guess they are showing the practices on NFL Network all week.

uhoh Doesn't sound like Wilson made the right decision judging by those tweets... I wish he had chosen baseball. Would have been more successful in that avenue.

Good news for him is that he can still choose baseball.

Wilson, that wee bastard of indistinguishable race could run my team anytime. He has tons of it and would be a great backup because of his ability to create out of chaos. I think he has Drew Brees like potential, at worst he's a rich man's Seneca Wallace.

Kirk obviously had a much better arm than either guy going into the day so I'm not surprised.

I think Kirk has got roughly the same arm strength as Hoyer, and that was Hoyer's NFL attribute.

I always thought Kirk threw a much better deep ball than Hoyer. Remember Hoyer underthrowing a wide open Devin Thomas on a 40 yard throw in the 2007 scUM game? That (or the BS Mallett fumble which somehow ended up in the midget's hands) would've been the game.

I don't know about that. I was at that game and, if I recall correctly, that pass was thrown when MSU was driving towards the north endzone...right into a stiff wind. That ball practically died when it hit the breeze at the height of its trajectory.

Personally, I think Cousins throws the weaker deep ball of the two. It has nothing to do with arm strength, He just isn't very good at leading his receivers on deep routes. He doesn't seem to hit them in stride often.

Hopefully, Wilson and Moore did not look like Brady in this comparison.

Wilson has the best footwork of the bunch but Moore isn't getting many positives on anything.

Also, Linthicum sat out today, i'm not sure why.
