where is the cool to creepy line?

Ok let's get this straight. Its cool to be 50 and dating a 25 yo, but its creepy if those same two dated 10 yrs earlier. Ie. 40 and 15. So where does that pass creepy and into cool?

I've always heard that it was (your age/2) + 7. So if you're 50, that would make the age 32, maybe that's just as a moral compass type thing because you'll probably get looks either way. If you want to get real technical with it, anybody no longer in school (high school and skipping college or out of undergrad) is in the adult world and not really illegal or morally wrong to be dating somebody of any age. As a freshman, a fellow freshman in the dorms had gone to school just a year before with Hefner's twins (went to Brighton high school), but I think if you stick with divide by 2 and add 7 you'll never get too weird of a discrepancy.

A 50 year old dating a 25 year old is creepy, you don't realize how creepy until you are at least 35. I'm 40 now and 25 year old girls aren't mature enough. 20 year old girls look like children to me.

That chart, and rule, are bullshit.
The line is "legal" 1/2 +7, +/- whatever it takes to get her to legal.
If she is legal and is freaky enough, take it.
And for SERIOUS relationships, whatever floats both of your boats. If you need someone in your age range to feel comfortable, then that is your biz. If some chick likes older dudes, or some dude likes older women, thats their own deal.
Personally, if I were single and was looking for something serious, I would have to stay within about 10 years, but she would certainly have to be younger than me. at 46, I cant afford to date chicks that are older. [scary]

side note: I noticed the other day that the kids that my kid hangs around with (just finished soph year of HS) look like they are 12. That is different than 4 years ago when my oldest was still in HS. They didnt look that young. (Im not saying I would chase HS chicks, just saying that there must be a spot there in my head somewhere that tells me where the line is, because I cannot imagine those girls being 18 and bangable. Just too freaking young looking)

That's more of a true dating guildeline for the masses. It takes a serious pimp to pull of 25/50.

That's cuz you touch in your polo so it doesn't get in the way of your cell ph clip. If 35 is too old to date 25 yos, then im going to stop counting after 34.
