Michigan State offered Winston off his sophomore film alone – it is that impressive. The injury has hampered his recruitment but the potential for him to be one of the nation’s top-tier guys is there if he has a great senior year. Winston’s frame and speed project him as rush defensive end in college. If Winston doesn't commit before the start of season I have a feeling his recruitment will take off.

Need to get this kid on campus and flip him! The size and speed, along with some of those pass rushing moves he has, you just cannot teach. Plus it would be great to start getting some Alabama kids in here. This would make up for the loss of Pittman big time.
Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.

FWIW, when Pittman flipped one of the staff just said "good thing we have Shilique Calhoun". That kid has turned some heads and is in the same mold as Pittman. Winston would be similar.
Staff is going hard after 6'5+ DEs. Calhoun, Winston, Heath (6'6), Evan Jones (6'6, could play DE or TE), etc.
