The latest Red Cedar Rumblings had him commenting specifically on his lack of interest in Auburn and how he is all in for MSU. Nothing to worry about here.

After watching his film, MacGarrett fits the mold of Desean Jackson IMO. His quickness, vision, and versatility will make him a dangerous weapon on Saturdays. What really amazes me is the amount of concentration he possesses already. This presents itself several times throughout his film, especially on those screen plays. MacGarrett will allow our offense to expand their horizon and be much more creative, even though creativity is not even close to being an issue for Coach D. I can't wait for him to arrive on campus!

The fact that we have two players of this caliber coming in says a lot about Coach D's ability to recognize and secure talent.

I must say, he has better hands than I expected. He already looks like he could develop into more of a downfield threat than Keshawn (who was fantastic, but lacked the ball skills to become a major deep target).
And who is their QB? He looks like a legit prospect himself.

Form the video, the kid catches everything with his hands. He runs like a running back once he has the ball lowering the pads and attacking defenders. He also has top notch quickness and acceleration. His only drawback appeared to be his top end speed. Don't get me wrong, the kid is extremely fast. But he doesn't have that elite top end speed. His quickness is his strongest asset.
BTW, I love the combination of Sims Jr. and Kings in the slot/WR positions. They will put a lot of strain on defenses.

QB is committed to Marshall.
They also have:
** DE committed to USF
*** 6'6" 340 OG committed to Louisville
** WR commiotted to WMU
not to mention a JR DT with FSU offer, a JR WR who will probably be a 5 star (Bama, OSU, OU, etc. offers), and about 10 other guys being recruited. A nice place to keep in contact with!

I thought the same thing, good instincts and quickness, but lacked elite top end speed.
