Guess he doesn't care about winning conference championships or playing in major Bowl games.
Must not have done much exhaustive reseach.

If you think that winning conferences and bowl games are all these recruits look at then you are pretty myopic.

I would guess he either looked at all the young DE's that we have on our roster and didn't want to fight for playing time or he looked at what DE's that we have put in the NFL that had success and he didn't like those numbers.

Remember when Bruce Gaston Jr. passed on MSU for Purdue, that worked out didn't it?
Being called a sunshine blower is not insulting to me and I'm proud to be one.

This is a definite possibility, imo. It could very well be that Dantonio has told Pittman that we won't be taking another DE in this class to reassure him. He did the same with Tompkins.

Yes, that was my thought. A kid is not usually going to come out and admit that it was the school that cooled on him.

It would have been nice to have a B. Clemons like recruit in this class... but in all honesty... we aren't going to lose any sleep, games, or depth without him.
I hope he has a good college career and gets to line up across from us someday.
