Down to Michigan State, Michigan, and Wisconsin with Penn State a wild card if they offer. Is going to visit PSU, Michigan State, and Wisconsin, but won't visit Michigan again.

Indeed. At 260lbs he seems small for a DT but i'm pretty sure he can bulk up well.

He's not a DT. He is more of a 5 technique or SDE. DT is a mis-fit for Godin IMO.

That could be. He's reportedly announcing within the next couple of weeks between MSU, UM and Wisconsin.
If that's the case, that's too bad. I know he grew up a UM fan, but I thought he would have looked good in the G&W.

Hasn't Will Campbell be chronically out of shape? Although, I do see your point on having naturally bigger DTs. It's likely the kid will add a lot more weight before he starts seeing PT at DT or even play his career at DE. I can appreciate that flexibility out of a prospect.

How many DL are you guys taking? Ive seen 5-6 OL but I havent seen DL numbers.

I don't think so. I know Rich Rod wanted him around 320 but he is just a big kid. Hoke and Mattison want him around 340 which is where he is at i think. His problem is not that he is fat or lazy, he just has bad technique. He wants to come up to fast and just push people, he needs to stay low and drive. The new coaching staff will help with a guy like Campbell, i think he will turn into a decent player, nothing special but solid.

I think Godin goes blue. He seems to be a UM fan and there's nothing he says about Sparty (nor any other connections) that seem to imply that we might be able to steal him.

rumors are that he is already a UM silent but they asked him to check out a couple other schools to be solid. (which to me discredits this rumor...unless UM has him further down their board)

The sad thing is, you don't even know a damn thing about your own team. The silent is Wormley.
Back to Godin though, it is no secret he favors Scum. However it is very good news he is visiting all but Scum before his announcement.
