Now that it is official that Taint isn't going there he will most likely get an offer.

I've just heard bad things about this kid, like the linked article about him getting tossed off one team. I doubt Al Golden would want him, and I'm surprised Dantonio would recruit him.

FSU sounds like the perfect school for him.

So there are reports that this kid has a bit of an attitude and maybe character issues....I trust our coach's assessment. There is no way we bring in a problem player when he is setup to be the leader of the team and future captain....this isnt a DB, its a QB.

There are many on other sites that dont buy his talent. Apparently the competition he plays is just atrocious. But again, the staff has watched him work out and I trust their opinion.

Him and O'Connor or Lunt would be fantastic.

He has plans to visit Alabama and Florida State in June. Kelly is not identifying a single leader.

The kid is in love with FSU. Right now I would place us 3rd on that list behind them and Clemson. We have time though.

Guys, I think Triton came on and posted that he is not his uncle, but someone who helped the family out in some fashion and met Chad. Triton was the first to post on here about CK's interest in MSU.

I hate to be Debbie Downer, but I really think he is headed to FSU. I hope I'm wrong obviously, because I would love to have him, but that's just my feeling. There are some FSU guys that think he is the biggest FSU lock out of anyone they are recruiting. That doesn't make it a sure thing by any means, but it does sometimes reflect on some of the rumblings they are hearing around the program. I think we will end up with O'Connor as the plan A, and if we take two it will be either Lunt, Tyler Cameron, or Andy Appleby as the other. To be honest, I wouldn't even mind if it was a guy like Cooper Rush, if he came and performed well at camp.

I don't think we're in play for him anymore anyway, but if we grab O'Conner next week chances for Kelly drop to 0.

I also think that an impending offer from Oklahoma may all but end the recruitment of Wes Lunt, due to him wanting to jump on the offer before Gunner Kiel does. This makes O'Connor that much more important, as the only 2 targets remaining would be Austin Appleby and Tyler Cameron. Both of those guy's recruitment is primed to explode. If we land O'Connor, and the rumors of the transfer of Cody Kater to MSU are true, I would be more than pleased.

IIRC, he never enrolled at Cincinnati.
