That's really good to hear. We looked sooooo much better than tOSU. It's too bad Maxwell didn't get some plays under center.

A possible new development in Monty Madaris' recruitment.
OSU WR Deveir Posey has been suspwnded for an additional 5 games. There is a possibility that Posey will not return to OSU for 2012. If that happens, then OSU may make a late offer to Madaris.
It is well known that Madaris has always favored OSU.
Note : Madaris has stated that he will take official visits to MSU and FSU for sure and is still undecided about any other official visits.

Thanks for the info Duffy. I hope he doesn't get to sucked in by the tO$U... We could definitely use him with all the WR's were losing.
I just don't see how the Bucks QB's or passing game could excite a WR of his skill level.

Not sure how that impacts Madaris
Posey is a senior and would be gone anyhow.
I think that the Madaris offer depends more on Stanford and Mike Thomas than anything else.

Mike Thomas just committed to OSU.
That probably makes Madaris the odd man out since the last spot at WR is most likely being held for Stanford

OSU just picked up a 4star WR that was previously committed to Miami. Assuming Meyer's Florida ties.
Doesn't seem like an OSU offer for Madaris is coming.

OSU now has 4 WR commits for their 2012 class.
They are also still interested in VA, WR/DB/RB Joel Caleb. He will be visiting OSU on 12/2/11.
Not much chance of Monty Madaris receiving an OSU offer now.

Urban owns Lakeland,FL. he took Chris Rainey, Jason Watkins, Ahmad Black,Maurkice Pouncey,Mike Pouncey,Paul Wilson,Steven Wilks,John Brown with most of them coming out of Lakeland Senior HS.
Meyer should have a solid combination of Ohio kids and Florida kids coming into OSU.

It's been awhile since I've seen anything on Monty. Has he even taken any visits?
It seems like we've designated our last couple of schollies to the D. Besides interest from Griffey... I can't think of any other offensive player we're going after?
He's really taken his time with the recruiting process.

He's been quiet, and apparently he's pretty difficult to touch base with. I believe he's done playing, so maybe we'll start getting some updates. Last I heard is was a MSU/FSU battle.

seems to have been waiting for an OSU offer, now that it looks like it won't come i'd expect his recruitment to pick back up. Heard he was planning officials to MSU, Florida St, and possibly michigan

Interesting... Does this mean that we're his favorite now? (b/c tOSU didn't offer)
There seems to be nothing but great athletes to give our remaining schollies to. Too bad we only have a couple left.
I've been saying for a long time that he would be a great get and he's been on my list for months.
Could we take Monty-WR, Coleman-ATH / S, and still have room for another?
