The kid is a beast. Any chance of him putting his hand in the dirt once landing on campus? Could shape up to be a quality DE.

He looks pretty good on film. He looks more like DE than an outside LB. Weird thing to add, he's highlight film shows him at DT too and his most impressive part of the highlight film is at that position.

McGee won the defensive MVP award at the Football University Atlanta Football Camp which was held this past weekend.

That's a big offer for him. 247 already has Bama listed as warm and everyone else as cool, FWIW.

I think it's still early in the process, but with UM accelerating things, you end up with the feeling that in early June every prospect should have been evaluated 5 times by now. Hardly any camps have happened and no one's played a down of their SR years. Prospect rankings are going to fluctuate enormously.

I agree 100%. This feels like a very weird year in regards to how quickly some of the top kids came off the board. Teams that wrap their classes early tend to get an early start on the next cycle as well so it doesn't seem like it's going to slow down. Occasionally it backfires. I have no idea whether or not it's good or bad but we seemed to adjust and take more shots early this year too. I mean, we basically have what we thought to be half of our class filled at this point.
