Hurst is taking a series of visits beginning this weekend. Penn State today, UVA tomorrow, UNC, UNC State, Duke all in one day on Saturday and then scUM confirmed for next week as well. No mention of an MSU visit. Are we completely out of it or did an MSU visit get left off the twitter feed? Seems odd he'd come all the way to Michigan and not visit us as well.

Weekly Penn State Recruiting Update 4/10

Visiting this weekend will be All-American LB Alex Anzalone as well as OL Dorian Johnson and DT Maurice Roy Hurst Jr. Maurice says that the staff isn’t sure whether they will take a 2nd DT in this class, but still want him to visit. He grew up as a Penn State fan and recently received an Ohio State offer.

Hurst Jr. visited tO$U over the weekend for the Buckeye Spring Game. His comments following led me to believe he had a quality trip.

Tremendous um is calling for this kid to visit scUM in the next few weeks and commit on the spot. Says he's getting it from Blake countess. Sounds thin after he said we were his favorite team in the B1G a week ago.

What sounds thin is him saying we were his favorite team in the B1G...now he's tweeting #GoBlue and chatting it up with UM commits and generally being ecstatic about the offer. I say he commits as soon as he sets foot in Ann Arbor. Same kind of stuff we saw from Bosch, Fox, and Kugler....they talk us up when an MSU fan site writer is interviewing them, but it means nothing.

I just don't get it. How could you possibly commit to the absolute bitter rival of a team you claimed to be your favorite? If anything I'm pissed with the weak interview now.

Because they hadn't offered or really even recruited him much before? He already visited Ohio State and tried to commit and was told no, then says MSU is his favorite and now it appears he might commit to U of M. Clearly rivalries are playing no part in this lol.
