If we couldn't get a recruit from CT when RR was running the um ship aground, I'll be astounded if MD & staff do it when Hoke has um winning. Granted the ball bounced um's way at EVERY opportunity last season, from DR's wounded ducks falling into um WRs hands to opponents stepping on their own dicks to lose (ND), and often at the same time (ND).

things have changed. UM couldnt possibly take all the d1 athletes that go to Cass Tech now. Yes Wilcher might push the kids he deems the best prospects UM's way, but as skip alluded we could have had Hill already if the staff offered.
For 2014 Cass could have 4 d1 LBs. Deon Drake, William White, Gary Hosey and Stan Smith. Since the MSU friendly coaches at other PSL schools got fired every kid ends up at Cass. How can UM even take 3 of them?

There aren't any from CT. That doesn't mean much on March 14, 2012, though. I point to Robertoo's comment above. ScUM will not recruit nationally as it does, yet continue to take 3 guys from CT each year. Someone will be there to swoop up the Delano Hill's.
MSU recruiting is changing, as is it's main competitor's. Cycles end, blanket statements get tossed in the garbage.

Does the coach have more influence than mom or dad?
