Gladney is a big possession type receiver who can go up and pluck the ball out of the air. He's not afraid to go over the middle and make the tough catch but he also has the speed to get deep. He reminds me of former Spartan receiver Donald Spencer who transferred out but Gladney is faster than Spencer and probably a little more athletic

He's not as big as Spencer though is he? If I remember correctly Spencer was 6'4.

Many of the services were showing Spencer as 6'-4" when he came out of HS. When he came to MSU, he was actually a little over 6'-2".

Seems pretty similar to BJ Cunningham based on your description and his highlight video

Gladney is faster than B. J. but he has some of the same attributes as B. J.
Gladney appears to be more polished as a WR than B. J. was at the same stage of development in HS.

Gladney looks, on film at least, to be the rare case of a kid who will measure out close to his listed height and weight. Huge plus. A legit 6'2 receiver is harder to come by than we'd all like to think. Blackmon is the number one receiver in the draft and he's a legit 6'1.

Spartan Target Has “Great” Visit

One of the Spartans’ top wide receiver targets, Kevin Gladney, was in East Lansing today visiting MSU. Afterwards Gladney had many good things to say about the visit.

Todd Worly just informed us that Kevin Gladney called him and told him that Michigan pulled his offer today.
We have no idea why and there's no reason that I can think of, but I'm just passing along info to you.
