OL and DL are the most difficult positions to recruit. There are lots of big kids out there but there just aren't that many out there who project to be successful at the D-1 level, unlike WR, DB, RB, even LB where there are always lots of athletes available every year. The top OL and DL prospects get snapped up quickly. Number one you need to win consistently, number two you need to have a track record for sending OL and DL to the NFL, and number three you have to establish brand recognition with HS kids.
