It's bizarre that non-premium members from another site can't read the articles but can downvote. I got smashed on the um board a few months ago.
Good news on Delton. Maybe the coolest opening play of any highlight film I've seen in the last 5 years. Your Defense is full of studs when offensive playmakers stay on the defensive side of the ball. This is kick ass news.

I'm super excited about this kid going green. If he ends up at safety or even LB he's going to be well equipped to take advantage of MSU's plus plus pass rush.

How many of those wobbly duck short throws are up for grabs when our pass rush is dialed in? Gonna be like manna from heaven for a kid with Delton's playmaking ability.

Another Prep junior, Delton Williams, soon could join Terry in picking a major program. Williams is a talented running back and return man, but he's particularly skilled as a safety. The 6-foot 2-inch 195-pound speedster is entertaining a growing list of offers, including Penn State, Pitt, Nebraska and Michigan State.

McDowell star Greg Garmon gave area football fans just a preview of the recruiting news to follow. Advertisement Garmon was a heavily recruited running back who was courted by dozens of major colleges throughout 2011. He waited until after his senior season to select Iowa and then announced his decision Jan. 3 at the Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl in Phoenix. High-profile skill-position recruits have been somewhat rare in District 10 in recent years, which might explain why the Erie Times-News and many area fans closely tracked Garmon's recruitment. With Garmon signed, District 10 can look ahead, and there is a wealth of young talent.

Probably. Ask yourself: What are the odds that he gets caught with weed in college? Is it acceptable if he does? I can see coaches thinking "not gonna risk it" and looking elsewhere.

I could see coaches saying, you've had your first strike, you only get 2. Isn't there drug testing in college, and if so is it real or a complete joke?

Looks like Williams just said good bye to the Spartan football program. I believe that it is highly doubtful Coach Dantonio would take this player with evidence of risky behavior. It is not a good situation. To bad, as I thought this kid had some great potential to be a good player for us if we ended up his choice.

It definitely does not kill his chances to be a Spartan, but it's fair to say the coaches will have to review the offer. I'm sure they'll keep it, but they will keep an eye on him. Heck, I support legalization, but we should just be sure.
Ever since Rather Hall our kids have done a great job of keeping out of trouble. Don't need an offseason like UM is having with multiple incidents.

I hope he learns from the experience and realizes that it's not worth jeopardizing the oppurtunity to showcase his talents at a big time program.
Even with the incident, I hope he ends up at MSU.

Well. I guess I see one of two things happening. 1) MSU pulls their offer or 2) He commits to MSU pretty soon as this experience gives him a quick back to reality dose.
I mean, this is now the conversation with every college coach he has on all his recruitment visits.
