I've been much less critical lately and have been trying to go fully positive but that tweet says it all. Man did we blow an opportunity to impress. Heard estimates of 80 visitors.

I agree. This game will not sit well with recruits esp.the ones who are also offered by ND

Sounds like the same scenario as mcdowell's visit. No big deal, they're just two incredibly important recruits. I'm sure Morgan didn't share his new found negative opinion of MSU to the rest of the core 6 guys we've worked so hard on.
That game was a fucking disaster on all fronts.

To me it makes the case for hiring a recruiting coordinator. A person whose only game day responsibilities are making sure that the visits are successful and addressing the needs of parents and recruits before they leave campus

Agree 100%. I believe staten is titled recruiting coordinator but he has too many game day responsibilities. Maybe the assessment was too harsh and we definitely had way too many visitors for one game but when two important recruits have a bad experience on the same day something's gotta give.

It also makes it Imperative that this new recruiting center on the east side of the building be top notch and get done ASAP! I've always heard its so hard to communicate w recruits after games especially bc they all shuffle out of the east end, seems way too unorganized for a supposed big time school we think we have here.
