    briefly as I recall....a week or so? Anyway, it looks positive for now. I thought somebody said earlier in this thread he's been advised to let the process play out and not verbal.....but, as P99 said if he's fallen head over heels for MSU, maybe we'll get good news soon.

    I think he committed 9th and decommited by the 13th.

    Yes I'd read that in the article about his de-commit. I certainly don't want him to make a hasty decision but he seems to be all over us right now. Coach D will ask him to be positive about the commit like be always does if it comes to that but it sure does look good at this point. I don't want to get too excited but man have we ever lead off a class by dropping four consecutive 4 stars?

    yeah, you and I both know that's a rhetorical question Skip! Which is why I'm so curious who we get to be OC....it's CRITICAL for the long and short term. We can win 9-10 games this season with an average or slightly above avg. offense that will REALLY solidify this class and put these kids at ease (HARRIS especially). Hopefully by 2014 the OC will have his full arsenal of plays comfortably implemented for O'Connor or Terry....fingers crossed.

  • I understand that we're excited about him visiting us for the third time in 7 days, but he's visited michigan twice in that time as well. I'll be waiting to see if he goes back to AA after this visit before I get overly excited about our chances.

    Just ask most scUM and O$U fans that follow recruiting and it's no big deal he decommitted their schools had better prospects than him anyway.

    Can't wait to see this kid in Green and White.

    Harris isn't committed anymore, it just says so on 247 for some reason. His last comments indicated he didn't have any favorites at this point.

  • I also thought he had only been to UM once since he decommitted. He visited us last week for the basketball game, then went to UM, then came back to us, now he's coming back to us again. Was there another UM trip I missed?

    He visited MSU for the basketball game and then visited UM. He decommitted the next day and then he visited MSU again over the weekend. As I understand it, he's going to visit UM again, but right now he's back at MSU for the basketball. That's 3 visits to MSU and 1 to UM, but it was mentioned on here by Skip that he wants to visit UM a second time.

  • um has a Jr. Day coming up next weekend. There will be a lot of recruit arm twisting at that one as usual.
    "Commit now while there is still a spot open for you at that position."
    Though I don't think Marshall will commit to them next weekend. He learned a lesson @ o$u.
