Is Doles a top ten kind of prospect in state? I am loving what the start of our 2014 class could look like if Harris starts it off tomorrow. Hopefully Doles, Allen, Jeff Jones (rb from minnesota), as well as the legacy safety from Illinois as well all looking favorable for state.

Would be a huge start recruiting up front, especially after missing on some of the priority OL for 2013.

scUM and ND are listed as Warm now on his profile. Wiltfong also tweeted it was looking like a "2 horse race" for Doles. Can't read the update though as it's on the scUM board.

That's odd. Wonder why we didn't offer given the fact that OL should be a focal point. Why give them the chance to slide in?

If you click on his profile you'll notice he's visited/camped at MSU, um, and nd all in the last three weeks. One of his high school team mates from 14' is commiting hopefully to us tonight. The last two years have sent this process into ludicrous speed. This is going to blow if a supposed MSU lean is focusing on two of our rivals right out of the gate at a position of need.

Tha'ts kind of what I'm suggesting. We're either the victim of bad information as fans at this point, or he's got a long way to go and got excited about a visit. If um's coaches caught a sniff of his pal going green they may have paid extra attention to him. I just feel like if he's as good as some say, than why not get an offer out there early.

Wiltfong is wrong.
Doles is reportedly a lean in the favor of MSU, not scum. I do not know about his out of state preferences, like ND.
MSU will be heavily in the mix for Doles if they so choose to be. Several sources, including reliable scum posters, have stated numerous times that Doles is considered a slight MSU lean. Doles was a Spartan fan growing up.

Yeah, seeing as how waiting it out on OL prospects has worked incredibly well this year. Why change things. Let's wait forever to offer a kid who is already revered as a top 10 player in the state. Make sure someone else has the opportunity to turn him on first.
