Agree with Spartan Jag - Why do some of you people spend moments of your day trolling UM boards then posting their idiotic comments on this one? What do the comments of random internet UM fan posters have to do with anything? And why does every thread get polluted with this crap?

He actually does not play a grade down. He just happens to be young for his grade. So in aau they go by age and not grade.

Actually they are pulling he is not a Michigan Man, and if Drake was he would know the difference between U of M and MSU.

frankly i don't care that i am going to get downvoted for this, but i can tell you this is not true and may represent one or two insane fans. 1. Nobody believes Harris is overrated.. What our boards agree upon is that he may be a more valuable player in football, however can make an instant impact in both sports. We also do think there is a shot that he may outgrow his WR position, but that would only make him a much more valuable basketball prospect. 2. If anything his dad is the only thing that kept us in this race because he seems pro michigan. We have dealt with many prospects with some over involved parents, but if a parent wants to help his child make the biggest decision of his life, then more power to him. As for Doles, I haven't seen this at all. My guess is that if Hoke offered him this early, is that he really wants him, and needed to get in early on an msu lean to even has a shot. I'm not saying he is going to automatically be a five star or high four star, but to offer a guy who may seem like a long shot shows Hoke wants him.... Again, I know this goes both ways, because I have seen countless u of m posters claiming msu posters do the same thing, but most of us u of m fans feel the way i do, and a couple immature fans think any prospect we don't get we didn't want. any questions, and i would be glad to help

What time is Harris suppose to announce today?

Yeah, there must be some things I am not seeing. It seems the coaches and recruiting gurus that cover UM were very high on Harris as a WR and said he is a special talent. There are probably a few wacky posters that say negative things (although I have not seen those yet) when it appears things aren't going to go UM's way but I think the vast majority of followers agree that Harris is very talented, UM would love to have him and that it's a very strong get for MSU (assuming he goes green). By all accounts I have seen, Harris was borderline spectacular at UM's camp. I am sure the UM coaches told him that we was wanted and I am sure the MSU coaches did the same.

Why?

If both teams are doing really well, and Drake is playing, he won't want to quit either team. I'd bet part of the reason he's headed to E.L. is the chance to play on two championship caliber teams.
