Normally distance is a factor but his mother is a baton rouge native correct? I believe I read his grandmother and aunt are still in the area. Nuthin like granny's cooking to cure homesickness. On a personal note, I've been there twice and although it's a crazy game experience it's potentially the shittiest town I've ever been in. It's awful.

I was at the Cass/B.Rice game last night, and from what I saw, Damon Webb is the best player between the two teams. He is a flat out playmaker. He had two 45+ yard touchdowns, one off a screen. He also had a FF, a FR, and an interception. Whoever gets him is getting a GREAT football player. Jon Reschke also impressed me a lot. He was all over the field, and he has great instincts. Dawson and Finely played very well also.

this is another example of what I was talking about with you a long while back, Big M. UM writers aren't lying but they only give you a version of the truth about these kids - not the entire truth.
The best example of this I can think of is Notre Dame. Max Bullough was a big time recruit. Max's uncle and grandfather both played at Notre Dame - his grandfather was an All American for the Fighting Irish. Notre Dame writers kept writing about Max's connection to Notre Dame, and ran quotes where Max said he grew up liking Notre Dame.
Well, all of that was true. But these writers failed to mention that Max also had a grandfather, father, and two uncles that played football at MSU. Lots of poorly informed Notre Dame fans were actually surprised when he committed early to MSU haha. Because their writers only wrote part of the truth - the part that catered to their readers.
And before you say it, Yes! MSU writers do the same things :)
