    Are you working on a write up for Copeland? What's the likehood he gets the majority of the B1G schools to offer? Hows MSU's standing with him?

  • His tape is very impressive. Instincts on the defense side are pristine. On the Offensive side he shows great speed and surprisingly doesn't go down easy.

  • The last part Concerns me a bit..

    The offer from Michigan State is sure to draw plenty of attention and if the normal course of events take place, Copeland will likely start to see several other BCS level teams jump on board. We asked him about getting the Michigan State offer and
    what it means.

    "It feels good to get offer by them. I have spoken with Coach Dantonio and Coach Barnett. They have said they like as a student and as a person and they like the different roles I play on the field. Getting an offer from them is great because I know other high-level programs will have their eyes on me now too."

  • When Coach Barnett first saw Copeland's film, he went straight to Coach D with it. After Coach D saw Copeland's film, he immediately gave the green light to extend an offer to Copeland.
    Of course, since Coach D has offered him, Copeland will start to receive interest from more schools.

    The Buckeye recruiting sites have been on Copeland, calling him a real sleeper in OH.

  • Copeland is in the top 5 on MSU's CB recruiting board right now along with IL, Parrker Westphal, MD, Troy Vincent, NJ, Kiy Hester, and GA, Nick Ruffin.
    Copeland is definitely a plan A CB recruit for MSU.

  • Some of you guys know my brother kylebennett7127 from wolverine 247. He comes over occasionally. He's probably one of their most knowledgable posters by far. I always send him film on guys were looking at because he's right a lot when it comes to kids film. When he watched copeland's film I sent him the first thing he said was "wow, who is that kid and where has he been". If we can land him he could be that Jalyn Powell tOSU fans wish they'd gone after.

    Not to really sidetrack this thread too much, but the recent Louisville 247 article about Harrell's offer from them says that he's one of the top RB prospects in Florida. He's listed as an RB/S prospect, but I'm not sure that it's been established that MSU is recruiting him for defense (I could be wrong). Actually, what's most interesting is that he says that Jeremy Ware should be able to accompany him on his visit to EL.

    Both Hester and Harrell are excellent ATH's and project to several positions at the next level.
    Kiy Hester - S, CB, OLB, WR
    T. J. Harrell - RB, S, OLB
    Note : MSU is not recruiting Harrell as a CB.

  • I REALLY like these 3 ATH's Copeland,Harrell and Hester! I would guess that Hester would project to either Safety or CB but if he gets a little bigger he could possibly be a Pass rushing LB But he is a Great athlete maybe he could even be a WR also if he has the hands. And Harrell is another versatile ATH RB or LB I would say at the next level but the way it sounds maybe RB is his best position. Copeland I have not heard/don't know much about but if the coaching staff has offered him this early they must really like him to and you know coach D knows talent when he sees it. But anyway I like the way the 2014 recruiting class is going so far.
