Cool the kid looked great at smsb. Loved him busting on the scuM OL commits.
Does this impact the recruitment of Khairi Bailey DE out of Chicago? I liked how physical he was in his game film. He had a nice bullrush technique and a big frame that could carry more than his current 245 lbs. He was able to slip blocks and showed some quickness shooting the gaps.
He reminds me of current Spartan Corey Freeman.

MSU leads for Cooper right now.
He is going to camp @ ND later this month.
Cooper will start to blow up now and other schools will get in on him since Coach D has offered him. Always happens.
Domer site discussion on Cooper, and compares him to Ishaq Williams, the 5-star DE commit. Links a Williams video for comparison. I'm just a hack fan, but Ishaq Williams didn't look "5-star" to me at all....but nice to see Cooper turning heads, and watching him blow by UM OL recruits was funny.
CBD, any chance we might make a move for both Cooper and his teammate Bailey? Certainly fills big needs and I assume by now guys like Daniels, James, Dunbar, etc. are no longer options.
Bailey seems undersized for what MSU likes to recruit to the DE position - I would guess MSU would need to strike out on a few guys before offering him. Smoot from Ohio is probably another solid plan B kid. Any word on whether Jeppesen inched his way towards an offer? I've read absolutely glowing reviews from Jim Comparoni and Paul K - they were shocked at how good and natural he looked at DT.
For Bailey, I think the issue may be his grades. He mentioned something about it at the Tom Lemming Banquet. If that's true, he may get an offer if he takes care of the classroom side of things.
Received a Notre Dame offer.
Dunno why he would want to go be a 3-4 DE after looking at what Narduzzi and Gill have done with DEs in our 4-3 scheme.
I guess ND offered as an OLB.

This is the hated alter ego of FriedWolverine. Suck my _______.
would be a great kid to kick off our linemen recruiting.
Your average UofM fan and I have something in common, neither of us went to UofM. Though we do share One major difference, I got Accepted.
...not to mention have him be a key to opening the door for future Chi-town talent.
...not to mention that it would shut up the Roushar haters briefly.
I'm going to doubt that.
Roushar would be 2 for about 90 if he wraps up Cooper.
And my point is made before we even get the commit.
Offered by Iowa State.
Do we still lead?
MSU is just a dust storm in comparison. We have no chance.
but actually, what about notre Dame?
They've taken 2 more OLBs in the past week in addition to 5-star Jaylon Smith. Can't see them accepting Cooper.
That's good news. I hope now we are on the top of Cooper's list. I wonder if ND would offer him as an DE too though.
