There is a lot of time left in this football season / recruiting cycle. Injuries, transfer, early NFL defections. There is a good chance MSU would take all three down the road.
I just love his game and he would be a great get for our program!...Here “s for wishful thinking, Bain, Augusta....woooooo!
Me too. I posted wiltfongs thoughts on him in the 2013 thread. He was taking questions today on the BB. It was awesome.
I love it!
This kid is at the top of my wish list.
Love to get the Big Fella at MSU.
Josh Helmholdt @JoshHelmholdt
Kicking off in Peoria. #Michigan commit Logan Tuley-Tillman vs Josh Augusta, who has a top 4 of #Mizzou #Illini #MichiganState #Sooners
Augusta better dominate Tuley-Tillman. That's all.
Heard they lined him up as a WR in his game today. haha
Look, I know Adams is all world, five star player and everything, but this kid, is my favorite DT. If he we land him, I just don't know what I'd do...He's just freakishly talented!
Chuck you've been killin the updates lately
Let's just say working every other day has its advantages.
“@JoshHelmholdt: 3star Peoria, Ill., DE Josh Augusta has a new leader http://t.co/CT6ZSjNP #Illini #Mizzou #MichiganState #Sooners”
Anyone know if this was good or bad news for us?
Yes, it is. Mizzou has the edge
I'm confused. According to the writers on this site we've lead pretty much for the entire cycle. Without a visit he's suddenly swung Mizzou? If anything it was supposed to be an MSU vs. Illiniois battle. Don't tell me that after an uninspiring performance back to back weeks Mizzou has leapfrogged his two favorites.
I don't think Sean or the other 247 guys have said we led for Augusta- only that we were in his top 3.
We're taking Peko for sure if he wants to come; not sure we take 3 DTs unless Adams miraculously decides to leave the South.
Per wiltfong last month big guy

We've thought it was Michigan State and Illinois for awhile out in front. Will be interesting to see when he gets back to East Lansing. I may see Augusta play next Sunday against Chicago Simeon.
I'm going to assume he'll make it up to EL for a visit this fall before he decides. If MSU doesn't lead after that, then the ship has probably sailed, but until then, I wouldn't put too much stock into it.
Oh yeah I agree. I was more saying I don't buy it in the first post. I also don't think every kid gives a shit about a loss on their visit either like everyone else. If that were the case he certainly wouldn't be into Missouri after Georgia worked them out on national TV. I hope we take two DT's and he's one of them.
He'll set up officials when he meets clearinghouse.
Now a 4 star on rivals
Missouri just picked up their third DLine commit. Let us hope Augusta comes to the conclusion that there is a better opportunity in Green and White.
