MSU has dropped from #1 with him to #3 behind Mizzou and ILL.
Roushar = Epic Fail
he just said 2 days ago that MSU was his #2
Latest interview with him on Scout.com, yesterday evening, he said Mizzou, ILL, MSU and Ole Miss in that order.
Again, Roushar = Epic Fail

This is really disheartening. How did we go from leading at one point to third? I'm getting to the point where Illinois has emerged as a state producing a lot more talent now and we've made it a focus but continue to keep our worst recruiter there. At some point this is coach D's fault. Make a friggin' change bro! We're getting killed there.
MD appears to be very committed to Roushar. No one on the outside can understand the rationale but it is likely a close friendship. However, this is big business with too much money at stake. Frienships like family in business can be very detrimental. Roushar is a horrible recruiter with the personality of a drying paint. Nonetheless, the more pressure is heaped on Roushar the more MD appears to reaffirm his committment to him. MSU should be an even more effective recruiting force in the BT. The philosophy is not on par with the reality of the times. No real pitch men on that staff since Enos left.
The sky will fall before MD willingly breaks the program "continuity"

Michigan State is still in his top 2.
Ten days ago his top 4 in this order were Mizzou, ILL, MSU and Ole Miss.
Now it's Mizzou, MSU, Ole Miss and ILL in that order.
The one constant has been Mizzou at # 1.
MIZZOU? I don't get it: they lost by like 50 the other day.....MIZZOU? damn....
Someone previously mentioned he likes one of their academic programs better than ours. It's not entirely based on football.
And we're 6-6. It's not entirely about the current football team, damn.
close to home
academic program for his major
A quick peak at a map proves your point. He's a couple hours closer to home at Mizzou.
Roushar in-home tonight? Sending our very best I see.
Any word on how this visit went?
When Roushar left the house everyone was asleep.
Come on man . . .
Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.
"What is green and white and red all over? The Spartans pounding their chests after this bloodbath" -Mitch Albom 11/2/13
Missouri has one stud DT (Pendleton) who is a Junior, who would be a senior Augusta's Freshman year. Their other recruits in 2011, 2012, 2013 are all underwhelming DL or just DE's, a truly different position. MSU currently does have needs at this position, but if they land Peko, plus another JUCO DT, added to Mecijah REynolds, Brandon Clemons, Anthony Rashad White, and James Kittredge who all have at least 2 more years of eligibility, the opportunity to step in very quickly becomes difficult for a 2013 Freshman unless they are a total stud.
It really is not Cut and Dry which is a better opportunity for a Freshman DT in the 2013 class, MSU or Mizzou? Some of those details are still to be worked out.
