I think it's pretty safe to say that Kings is gonna get his chance next season no matter what offense we roll out.
Nothing really perplexing about it..
We offered, he's consistently said we're in his top 5.. (albeit 5th out of 5). He's a good enough player (prob the best WR left on the board) that we'll stay in touch to make sure his interest isn't growing and to probably check in on other guys in his school we're interested in..
Even though we've got a ton of RB's in our class, if a 5* wanted to commit to MSU, we'd make room.. Same with Treadwell. I don't think it means anything about our current crop of receivers.
Sims doesn't really play into the comment because he redshirted last year anyway. Kings, on other hand...
No, it is perplexing.
Laquon Treadwell @SuccessfulQuon
My mom is sold on Ole Miss. She loves that place, guess it comes down to these last official visits. Decisions!!
Goes to show you that parents are a strong influence that should be considered when weighing in on recruits. I have heard that Ole Miss has the best looking women in the SEC from living in Georgia and listening to a few UF and UGA graduates. Never underestimate the SEC's other teams...
Ole Miss is also a good school, and has one of the nicest campuses in the country. Combined with the fact he can play in the SEC, it no surprise at all he would choose to go there.
Good school? In the state with the worst public schools in the nation? Some how I don't buy this. Campus I hear is great and the women are gorgeous. Next thing I will hear is people bragging about academics at EMU.

If he does go SEC, it's a win for us and the rest of the big 10.. Not to have to play him every year.
I don't think Ole Miss is a great school but I have also heard about the amazing tail there.
Wherever he goes, best of luck to him if its not MSU. He seems to be a special talent.
Just got a 5-star ranking on Rivals; #10 overall player in the nation.
Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.
How is that a win. The Big 10 will never get respect back if players like this jet off to other conferences. Ya It will mean MSU will have to play against him, but it's not the other team's offenses I am worried about.
It's a win if he doesn't go to Michigan. I don't think I need to go on
We visited him today at his hs!
Big Ten respect doesn't matter. What matters is MSU winning games. That's all. Laquon Treadwell playing for Michigan makes it harder for us to win one of those games for the next 4 years.
Get your priorities straight, Spartan.
I don't care how tough UM is, as long as MSU beats them. Im just saying perception means a lot in this messed up BCS world, and if the BIG is looked upon as a stronger conference it will be easier for MSU to play and WIN bigger games.
Sorry for taking the thread off track. delete if needed.
Thought you gone for awhile, hadn't seen you posting
Yep, Ole Miss is NICE....very good school with an amazing campus: just gorgeous. Too many confederate flags for my taste but....yeah, it's solid and anyone that rips it doesn't know wtf they're talking about.
Stopped relying on Rivals when I learned Terry is still a 5.6 3 star..
agree: screw rivals and screw the 'star' system....its' BS
He named Ole Miss his leader
Who's relying on Rivals? It was an update for the ranking of a player. Also, the updated 250 comes out this week, so I'd be surprised if Terry doesn't move up a few notches. Rivals is the last service to update their rankings each cycle anyways.
Last 4 officials go to Florida Michigan Oklahoma and Okie State
I feel like he's going to Ole Miss or Okie Light.
