Time will tell.
Chryst - OC to HC
Rudolph - TE to OC, plus going back home to Pittsburgh, also where wife wanted to go
Huxtable - LB to DC, also hired away from Pitt the year before
Alexander - to ASU WR, was about to get canned anyways
Bostad was going to the NFL this year anyways, and he did. Chryst is his closest buddy.
The biggest loss was Rudolph. Excellent recruiter and TE coach. Has put Graham, Beckum, and Kendricks in the NFL.
The opportunity presented itself last year as well and they didn't leave. Chryst was offered the Cowboys OC/QB job, paying close to 1 million. Bostad and Chryst were also offered to leave for Texas as OC and OL coach, they didn't. Chryst was also offered the Minny job. I realize you want to read too much into it.
As long as Cass kicks the sh&T out of Rice, he can go where ever he wants
Please keep it on Finley guys.
Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.
Finley interview after buckeyes camp over on buck nuts. Didn't go too wild in the interview. Meyer took him on a personal tour. They must want him. Nothing said to make us think we won't be in this at all.
I sure hope the staff is bang down Finley's door. He looks like our best option at OT right now.
This OLine recruiting has got to get going in the right direction and Finley could start it.
Soufflé, I'm straight, I scrape my plate/,Sade, I'm a smooth operator... I DROP TOP MY WHIP!
Yeah, this thread just got more popular all of the sudden.
Agreed. I don't see Finley as a likely target right now. I don't see ANY major OL recruits picking us over the likes of Michigan, ND, OSU, and Wisconsin anymore until we can do the same thing with the OL that we've done with all of our other positions: turn them into NFL prospects. The level of player development needs to improve for the OL as a whole. Our guys there are underdeveloped compared to pretty much every other position.
Paid Rivals article just listed his top 3
He was pretty sparse in comments about all three - OSU, MSU ILL in no order
Hopefully he chooses MSU! does he mention when he is going to choose?
Lol i dont know i'm not a subscriber, i was waiting for others to go check.
Sean were there any other local oline targets that stood out during the camps? Any guys that our staff is keeping tabs on?

Class of 2010
Sean, I read that this morning on Badgers 247. Has this top 3 just expanded to a top 4 in your personal opinion? Or is it really between us and tOSU? He's made mention a few times that Illinois was his first offer and he's going to be 100% fair to them and loves their depth chart as well. But I think he's got just as good a chance to play right away here as well.
Detroit (Mich.) Cass Tech Offensive Tackle Dennis Finley will visit Michigan State on August 1st.
Hmmm...any chance we could get a commit out of this? There have been rumblings of some Big Ten recruiting news this week.
Is this part of the "big news" that I think Helmholdt was talking about on twitter?
