Possible. Seems to be a lot of conflicting information as to if he is visiting Michigan.
I don't know what other sites are saying, but as of right now he is visiting according to 247.
"Ross Douglas @RDPSU_21
michigan offer is not new they offered over a month ago just didnt see a need to report it cus im goin to penn state"
So it looks like the Ross Douglas stuff, may not be relevant...
MD puts defensive backs in the NFL...Hope this guy goes green.
Update, Hicks did not visit. The coaches suggested that he not visit at this time.
Note to Brady Hoke: If MD offered him, you want him.
Actually, note to Brady Hoke: MD is a horrible evaluator of DB talent. You are a way better coach. Please continue focusing on your over-hyped megastars.
Any updates on D. Hicks? I hearing a possible visit in the near future.
I read about a spring practice visit for him a week from today. The update also said that OSU will hold off on offering him until he camps with them. I believe MSU is still number one on his list, and if I had to guess, Dantonio will most likely tell him next week that this class is quickly filling up and he is number one on their list of CB's. Reading the RCR this week it mentioned that Coach D gave Shane Jones until 5pm yesterday to commit, that screams to me that the staff knows it will be a smaller class and they are letting all of their plan A kids know they better jump on board soon, or get left out. Hope Hicks goes green next week.
Jalyn Powell and Shane Jones, our D commits from Ohio, need to get in touch with this potential future defensive backfield teammate. Maybe Reshcke as well. I agree with Jizzy (from above post) that it appears that Coach D is not demanding an immediate on-the-spot commitment but is setting a deadline in the near future that other kids will be given the first come - first served approach.
The Urban legend will continue to slow play Hicks who desperately wants an O$U offer.
Hicks just doesn't realize that he is a Plan B recruit for O$U.
Hicks will not receive an O$U offer unless they miss on several other CB's they have already offered.
does the staff take both Hicks and Warfield or is it first come at cb.
I would be very wary of a kid that you know wants an OSU offer and has any chance of getting it. Dont want to jeopardize the position thinking he is committed only to have him flip.
We've gotten some great talent late that would have gone to colombus had they gotten the offer, Burkland and Madaris come up quick. Glad to have those guys.
People need to give it a rest already, we've lost 1 recruit to them that has committed and he was never a solid verbal. MD has had a grand total of 3 recruits de commit and go to other schools. If I guy commits to us, I am 99% sure he's sticking with us.
If MD has Hicks #1, he is a stud, pure and simple and other schools would be stupid not to offer him because he's probably going to be an All B1G player if Dantonio is so high on him.
From what I've seen they won't take another CB recruit unless he's an elite 5* type, otherwise they're done at CB. It seems like the only way he gets an offer is if OSU can't get one of those guys and a current CB commit decides to decommit.
Is there a reason he is attending Tuesday's spring practice rather than the Spring Game 4 days later? It'd be nice to have him there while some of our commits are there so they could lean on him.
On the other hand: My hope is that maybe it's an effort to give one more big push prior to other CB recruits being on campus for the Spring Game and possibly trying to accept an offer. If Dantonio can say "I can't guarantee your spot once Saturday rolls around", (similar to the Jones situation, like Jizzy mentioned) maybe that will entice him to pull the trigger.
Then again, maybe Tuesday is the only time Hicks is available to visit.
Both good points, I would have to assume that Coach D will probably let him know that the class is filling up rather quickly and it won't be a big one. Maybe they will either push for a commit on Tuesday, or will ask him to come back for the spring game as well. Anyone know if he has anything scheduled for the day of our spring game? I bet the staff also wants to see if this kid will keep waiting for that OSU offer..that probably won't come.
Darian Hicks made an unofficial visit to MSU yesterday.

Wait. I thought it was today.
Matt Dorsey @Matt_Dorsey
Darian Hicks just told me he really enjoyed MSU visit. No commitment. Said he is unsure when he will make his college choice
This recruitment smells like one that will go on for a long time ala Madaris. Kid seems to really want that Buckeye offer, but I don't think it will ever come. Let's hope he digests the visit, and commits soon, or else that spot may get filled.
If he takes his sweeet time, maybe CB Warfield will commit to us...
It is still early in the recruiting process let him think about what school is the best for him and I feel good that he will choose MSU!
No reason to panic or leap to the negative here. We've seen this scenario play out favorably for the Spartans many times before. MSU doesn't need immediate commits, just solid commits from solid players.

Solomon Warfield wanted to attend the Green & White game but it falls on his little brother's birthday. He wants to visit MSU again soon.
Maybe a reprieve for Hicks if he really wants to attend MSU.
I think the next time Warfield visits MSU that he will commit.
I like Warfield! He hits hard!
