Landing this recruit would be Evel.
Older ESPN profile:
why did you post this profile Sean? What have you heard? Is MSU in the picture? Thanks
Guess he is visiting on Aug 3.
Holy cow! Watch the IMG Madden camp footage of this kid on you tube. He'll be a bit of a project as he hasn't played a lot of ball but oh my god that's size and athleticism you can't teach.
MSU may extend Knevel an offer when he visits and the staff gets a chance to meet him and talk with him in person.
He says Wisconsin is his early favorite, do you know if we have a good shot if we offer?
MSU would have a shot if they offer. Wisc. offered him after he camped there.
He also has an offer from Mizzou.
He seems to want to play in the Big Ten.
Wisconsin has taken a lot of guys. I don't see how they could have room for another OT
Biegel's going to be a greyshirt. That's probably the spot they'll use.
Visiting MSU Friday.
I don't see how Wisky has spots for either Finley or Knevel - but I can definitely see a place at MSU for the both of them :)
FWIW...Madison is 10 hours from home. Columbia, MO is 13 hours away. East Lansing is a 4 hour drive.
Does he want to stay close to home?
Closeness to home will be a factor in his final decision.
He will be an early enrollee (Jan.) wherever he decides to go to college.
CBD, If he's an early enrollee, can we backdate his scholarship to the 2012 class (and do we have the room to do it?)
that's great info - plus we already have two Canadians on the team.
David Fennell and...?
I know we are recruiting Canadian 15 QB Michael O Connor
Arjen Colquhoun is the other Canadian on the roster.
What is the advantage of doing that? We aren't pushing the 25 per year limit. It's the 85 total limit we have to look out for. Thats about my limited understanding of it. Let me know. Thanks.
If he gets a scholarship offer, which I'm sure he'll get, I think there's a chance he commits pretty quick.
Big kid, close to home, perfect fit.
Wisconsin already has 3 OT's.
I get a feeling, since they're still listed as cool, MSU might already be where he wants to play ball.

he did an interview with another site. He didn't say anything to make me think MSU is a favorite but it sounded like he'd consider MSU if they offered.
I read that too and got the same thing. We'll be a player but it's no layup.
