Visiting OSU Feb 24th and Florida March 22
There is a rule here about posting rumors without citing any source.
I, personally, will be very relieved if he comes back from his OSU visit without committing. Meyer is a wizard.

From Miles Joseph at elevenwarriors.com:
Do other schools have a legitimate shot at flipping you from MSU? Would you say the Spartans are your leader as of this moment?
Yeah, when I committed to Michigan State, it was to play football and basketball. When I decided to play only football I opened up my recruitment. I would not say they're in the lead, as right now I have a list and everyone is about even.
Which schools are on that list?
Ohio State, Alabama, Michigan State, Michigan, Florida, and Notre Dame are the main schools I'm looking at.

I don't think he will fall for Urbz' snake oil, I think he's a smart kid and he has to know OSU's offense is not WR friendly.
The SEC worries me a little more. I think we will get him though.
So is this dude still commited?
Haven't read that. He should stop calling himself committed.
Hopefully "Elevenwarriors" also sends Drake a copy of its article detailing the offensive struggles of an Urban Meyer offense, and that it only works with a Tim Tebow-type running QB (or Braxton). WRs either block for the running QB, or they are Percy Harvin slot guys that run the ball off counters or shift to RB. This is an OHIO STATE article; so its criticisms of the limitations of a Meyer offense has credibility.
There simply is no deep threat, pro-style WR in an Urban offense, and anything Drake is told by OSU to the contrary is demonstrably false.
Just needs to find a kid like RGIII. Can run and through the deep ball.
I don't get why it says he is committed on any site then... He basically just said he's not.
This is where I am relieved to see our staff continue to emphasize pass. Yes, they want mobile QBs but there is a difference between Denard-style mobile QBs and Terry or O'Connor-style mobile QBs. Our QBs (even Terry) are relied on to pass and then move if/when necessary. That's different than making a name for yourself running like Braxton and anyone else Meyer has been involved with. Meyer relies on more selfish QBs. The ones who scramble, score TDs, and build up their own stats while I feel like ours are used to run our offense first and then think about themselves way down the line. After options 1, 2, and maybe even 3 run dry.
I just can't see Harris getting the ball very often in those other, gimmicky offenses. For several years and through several different QBs, our staff has showed a commitment to passing the ball downfield. Harris could thrive here.
Immediately after Urban visited Harris, he announced he wouldn't be playing bball in college.
laconophilia is everywhere...

Drake Harris names Kentucky Wildcats leader
If he isn't going to stay with MSU I'd much rather have him leave the conference than go to scUM or O$U.

UK indicates he has basketball as a priority - makes you wonder why the flirting with other schools. Shouldn't that sew him up for MSU?
Him deciding to play only football was what he cited as the main reason he opened his recruitment back up.
This kid is playing games.
Are there any quotes of him saying UK is the leader or is this just possibly a mistake?
Until there's a direct quote, I wouldn't put much stock into it.
If he does play basketball, he is an MSU lock. He's stated that the only coach he would play for is Izzo.
When is the signing day for basketball, should he decide to play?
A committed recruit with no leaders.
No longer visiting OSU on the 24th because Urban is out of town.
Just wanted to pass along an update from our board. He's now planning on going to Ann Arbor for the Michigan - Illinois game next weekend instead going to OSU.
