Visit today. Any word on commitment expected? Or just a follow up campus visit?
Are you saying he is visiting today? If so I haven't seen that, where'd you see that?
I think 247 made a mistake earlier. I remember February 28th as a supposed visit date too, but now its March 28th

I'd like to hear him elaborate on Indiana's football tradition...
Update from Charlotte NFTC over the weekend, apparently the weather was windy and rainy and he's got a cannon.
Chris Durkin, QB, Youngstown (Ohio) Ursuline -- After getting an up-close look at the midwest standout, it's easy to see why schools such as California and Michigan State have offered. Durkin is a big kid (he's 6-feet-4) with a big arm. He not only spun the ball about as well as any quarterback on hand, he got it from A to B pretty quickly. The elements did little to impede his performance, which is something few others on hand could say.
Durkin is up to a 90 rating now on 247 and Also listed as the #17 in OH for 2014...
Durkin committed to MSU per his dad. More coming asap.

Youngstown (Ohio) Ursuline four-star quarterback Chris Durkin gives his pledge to Michigan State.
Glad to have him. He clearly wants to be here and be a part of this program. Welcome, Chris!
Welcome to MSU Chris! Go Green!
laconophilia is everywhere...
Durkin is a beast. Go Green!
Soufflé, I'm straight, I scrape my plate/,Sade, I'm a smooth operator... I DROP TOP MY WHIP!
We chatted with new Spartans quarterback commitment Chris Durkin about how hell fit in the offense and a host of other subjects ...
We need the Durk to start recruiting for us and hit an ass of camps this summer. He needs to show why we offered him a schollie and why he's our guy. Let these other guys see what the future at MSU looks like.
Agreed. Time for Durkin to become the leader of this class. It begins with getting to know the other commits, then starting on the new recruits.
Hopefully this kid takes charge and helps lead MSU to an excellent 2014 class!
EDIT: I moved the rest of this post to the 2014 thread, as it seemed more appropriate.

Here is my analysis of Chris Durkin :
QB Chris Durkin (6'-4", 230 lbs.) - Draws comparisons to Tim Tebow because of his size. He has a stronger arm and better throwing mechanics than Tebow did at the same stage of development. Not necessarily nifty or elusive running in the open field but he shows good vision and running instincts and he isn't afraid to take on tacklers and fight for extra yardage. Has a very strong arm and can make all the throws. Has escapability from the pocket when pressured and has adequate speed (4.68 forty) for the QB position. Still needs to develop more consistency and better accuracy which will happen as he matures as a QB. He is far from a finished product as a QB but he is athletic and has the tools to work with; arm strength, athleticism, toughness. He will be red-shirted.
Here are some highlights :
His profile says he's visiting northwestern for 3 days? Was that just listed before he committed and never taken off?
That was listed before he committed. Can't imagine that that happens now.
This won't be a popular opinion but to me this is in poor taste. If your commited that's it. "If that's who I go with". Uuuuhh you already went with us Chris, that's the point.

Completely agree. If he doesn't reaffirm his commitment soon, my honest reaction is to cut him loose.
