Tells me he'll visit Michigan State on Wednesday. Ranked as the nation's No. 3 dual and No. 91 prospect overall.

And I believe MSU will have coaches there watching him.
Nice. They should learn a lot about him from this game considering the quality of the opponet. I hearing that they are expecting 6,000+ in attendance for the game tonight.
Looks like the running game went off during this game for 500+ yards and He only threw 4 passes completing two all game.
Running game was outstanding last night he only thew the ball 4 times with one going for a 43 yard td. Coach asked him what he thought at half time.... he told them to keep running the ball. Good leadership
on an unofficial visit to MSU today

Kizers's Central team (9-0) goes up against Whitmer (9-0) for the league title tonight. Central is still #1 in DII and Whitmer is #5 in DI. This is one of the biggest high school football matchups in Toledo history.
Whitmer is the high school of MSU Fr. Saftey Mark Meyers.
Nice thanks for true news. Also heard he was fired up after spending some time in aa and not getting an offer. Felt that they were slow playing him and its really turned him off.
MSU offers per Trieu
Toledo Central Catholic (Ohio) 2014 QB Deshone Kizer offered by #MichiganState http://t.co/KYZqQhtj
Kinda odd considering how this site keeps saying how close Henderson supposedly is to pulling the trigger on a commit. Maybe the staff doesn't feel as confident?
more like pressure on Henderson to commit, IMO
Or they like both and would be happy taking either.
Wiltfong said he thinks MSU currently leads. Kurelic said OSU doesn't seem close to offering him.
With Henderson seemingly favoring us, and O'Conner likewise (and considering reclassifying to 2014), this could get very interesting.
Anyone else find it odd he was offered over the phone?
laconophilia is everywhere...
I do. I may be reading entirely too much into this like I typically do but I don't think it's outside the realm of possibility that its in some way this was a preemptive strike to turn up the heat on he Henderson this weekend. However, I do think the staff really likes him. He's been a good performer at camps, has good game film, and seems to like us. Between the three aforementioned qb's in this thread I'd be happy with any one of them.
I watched Kizer play on Friday night in the DII state semifinals. I didn't get to see too much of his passing ability because it was very windy and cold. Also, Central is a good running team so they kept the ball on the ground for much of the game. However, I did notice that Kizer is very elusive for a big QB. He has good running ability and some quick feet. He does need to improve his passing accuracy (based on previous games I have seen) quite a bit to be a QB at the next level though.
His team plays in the DII state final this Friday.

His team is up 14-0 at half not much happening as catholic's running back has been successfully so far. Btw going up against cam burrows (osu) and mcCarey how every it's spelled going to Michigan
DeShone Kizer says he'll visit Michigan State on Sunday.
Seal the deal.
is it first come first serve amongst the 14 QB targets or is there one that is the clear favorite/number 1 target of the staff?
Go Bears, Blackhawks, White Sox, and Pioneers.
Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand
MSU's # 1 QB target for 2014 is Michael O'Connor.
Been a loooong time since he's mentioned us though CBD don't you think? I'm not even sure we'd make a top 3 for O'Connor. They always say look at what a kid does not says. Spent his entire fall at SEC games, just moved to Florida to work with Weinke at IMG. He hasn't shown me anything to suggest we'd be a player. What are your thoughts?
I agree Skip. Just take a look at Montravius Adams. There was talk all over this board that we had a shot. But then we couldn't even get him to MSU for a visit event if Mumphrey was a friend. We need to take shots at the big dogs but if they don't respond in kind. Let's move on and get guys who want to be Spartans.
Fight for the only colors, Green and White!
Never said that MSU was leading for O'Connor or anything like that, only that he is MSU's priority @ QB.
He seems to be leaning to play in the $EC.
