Crabtree, Blackmon, Percy Harvin, Aurelius Benn, etc. have all come from spread offenses and have been drafted the first night. The spread isn't a limiting factor when it comes to the draft.
I will upvote you though because Meyer is a piece of trash.

The Urbster is a filthy pirate hooker, but some spread offenses can showcase a WR and help them get drafted.
Ultimately, however, a WR with NFL talent will make the pros regardless of offensive scheme as long as he works hard and learns his craft. The lone exception may be Army...
Oh, and Urban is filthy.
laconophilia is everywhere...
Couldn't agree more. The scheme won't hold back talent and at 17 years old with people following you around telling you your the next whoever how could you blame a kid for buying in.
Yeah but it's the home-state school that's currently undefeated with a "sexy" new coach (regardless if you like him or not). It's not hard to see why or surprising that he's likely Columbus bound.
You're a little off on your statistics. MSU has thrown the ball 296 times and OSU has thrown it 201. Point is still valid though.
Classy move on the kids part. I totally resent the game day atmosphere comment though. MSU has an amazing game day atmosphere.
Agree and best of luck to him. Despite the half full student section, spartan stadium rocked on Saturday for a 5-4 team. The fan base is definitely disappointed and frustrated, but we're still Spartans and support the team. Good luck to Thad
Hearing a lot of "We" in these HS coach interviewsately. They seem to on the verge of becoming handlers more than coaches.
Something odd is going on here.
We are growing suspicious that OSU is pushing him back
Who is we?
Edit, think I saw you're a buckeye fan. Makes sense now.

No shit sherlock.
He calls other schools to tell them he's made his choice but thanks anyway, sets several announcement dates to miss every one, then reopens his commitment. Hmmm....something fishy....
His top 5, assuming thats in order since he numbered it.

I didn't realize PSU was such a player for him. I thought tO$U and ND were our main competition.
Thought he wasn't interested in us anymore? Clearly that OSU offer is not committable.
Glad to see we're being seriously considered but I have to wonder what happened with OSU. He basically shut down his recruitment and committed to them. Not only did it questionably open back up after that but now they're not even in his top few schools? Something must have hit him quick and hard.
