Wow, he'd be a good get
Michigan State offered
Guess this is the top QB target for 14? They told another 14 QB they weren’t extending offers until they saw junior film?
Henderson is o$u bound.
I had read that OSU was his childhood favorite, but what the heck would he think going there now with that offense??? Not to mention that they have one of the top rated dual threat qb's from Texas coming in for 2013.
Kind of indicates what Urban is looking for in his offense.
Count me in the crowd that was hoping the Narduzzi relationship would help bring this kid into our pro style O.
The same kid who's dad was Narduzzi's room-mate in college? I think it's a little early for that . . .
Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.
If MSU's D repeats last year's performance, who knows where Narduzzi will be when Caleb committs.
Didn't Narduzzi recently sign an extension at MSU? If so, he would still be here.
There is a pretty good chance that if we have another great year on defense, Narduzzi lands a HC job somewhere.
He can leave for a higher position
FWIW the kid grew up a huge OSU fan and loves Urban Meyer. Mike Farrell from rivals says if OSU offers he might commit on the spot.
If that is the case then too bad for the kid. It would be akin to Oklahoma schoolboy Troy Aikman committing to OU loving switzer but just being the wrong fit for the offense.
Hopefully the kid realizes a pure pro style would be the best offense for him to be in and also be under the tutelage of renowned qb guru Dave Warner.
just because he loves Meyer does not mean Meyer loves him, so unless Henderson is sitting near the top of their board the offer ain't coming.
Sure, Meyer will try to string him along as a back up plan, and then other schools who show him the love early can get their feet in the door and catch up. We've seen a lot of good players from Ohio go outside the state while Meyer chased "better" players, and I bet we'll see Henderson go somewhere else too.
FWIW mike ferrel is an OSO homer who was called to question by two services recently for his biased and shotty coverage of a certain um commit at the opening. He may not be the most reliable source for guys we're looking at with OSU interest.
Maybe OSU will never offer.
I am not a doctor
Rather have them offer and the kid says Go Green!
Apparently, OSU is making this kid their top priority as a QB. Still no offer, he's a pro-style QB. Interesting recruiting tactic by Meyer.
MSU is now listed as "warmer" with UM and OSU as "warm", but neither of them have offered. 2400 yards passing and a 19-10 TD-INT ratio and 453 yards rushing and 10 TDs this season.

To be honest I am really not that concerned about Caleb going to scUM or Ohio $tate. I don't see urban recruiting a pro style that hard or a kid interested in that and Nard dawg won't let this kid go to the human cheeseburger hoke
so mattyfresh and so clean
Pump the brakes. It's easy for MSU to on the top of his top three considering it's his only offer.
While I agree OSU appears to be going after a different skill set, if the Bucks were to miss on a guy or two and offer, watch out. UM appears to be holding off on QB recruiting right now.
MSU appears to sit well and the Narduzzi connection can't hurt, but it's still early.
While I agree it is early for the 2014 kids, it's not all that early on Henderson. There has been plenty of word out of his camp that a November/December announcement could be a possibility.
