Michigan State's head coach, Mark Dantonio will be in Saginaw tomorrow recruiting. I've heard that MSU's Dantonio is excepted to offer Saginaw (Mich.) Heritage 2015 standout, Brian Cole. Michigan State is recruiting Cole as an athlete, and really like him on the defensive side of the ball at corner. The 6-foot-2, 190-pound Cole was offered by Michigan last week.

The first player I have seen us recruit from Saginaw Heritage. That is where I went to HS at. He must be good to already have interest and be in 2015.
We recruited Stu back in the day.

Stu was one year older than me. I guess I meant since I starting paying attention to recruiting around '04.
I'm a little more of a recent graduate of Heritage (2011) but Brian Cole is the real deal, at least athletically. I haven't seen him play since his freshman year but even then you could tell he is a special talent. Kid is going to make a huge impact somewhere, especially because he still has plenty of time to grow as a sophomore. If he grows a few more inches I wonder if we recruit him as a TE/WR
Sean, has he camped at MSU? Highlight tape only showed 30 seconds of him on defense, but no coverage on pass plays
Class of 2010
Mark Dantonio and Co. prefer to have sophomore prospects camp at Michigan State before offering. But there are exceptions ...
Brian is currently doing his due diligence. Has visited MSU, UM and is visiting ND this weekend. Nice to see he stopped by MSU and visited with Coach on way to ND.
Kid looks serious. Love that he stopped on his way.
laconophilia is everywhere...

Haven't heard too many details on his recruitment. What are your early thoughts Sean?
I could have been a Rhodes Scholar, except for my grades. -Duffy Daugherty
Noticed Clint Brewster ready crystal balled Cole to um. Not only is that a little early but I think we're in excellent shape for this guy based on things we've heard over the last 6 months. I think we're in this.
Since you can change crystal ball predictions anytime, a lot of analysts just try and make a pick as early as possible. You either get it right and say you called it from the start, or you just change it close to when he's going to decide.
Some writer made a crystal ball pick on a high school FRESHMAN the other day.
They need to lock in these predictions once they are made. No being able to change them. It would make these Crystal Ball predictions mean a lot more from the staffers on this site. Plus it would be able to accurately show who knows there stuff over who knows how to switch their pick the day before an announcement. There is really no credibility to the crystal ball and the people who make the predictions when they can change them the day before a player announces.
So Sean projects Cole to MSU and he's camping tomorrow. He's visiting UM on Tuesday and it's hard to get too excited about a 2015 prospect, but the situation with he and Stallworth seems really encouraging.

He and Arnett seem to be friends.
Yea it would be nice if Arnett is a factor this yr. Can only help with Cole IMO.
There is a member of spartanmag who is extremely tied into the Saginaw area and knows one of Arnetts well. He knew everything about DAs original commitment to UT and the transfer. His info was spot on before anything was public.
He posted a few weeks ago Arnett is extremely close with Cole and he is all MSU from everything he has heard.
I know its a random internet "source" but at least he has a proven track record with a recent Saginaw area blue chip player.
