SpartansOrDie: MSU has offered Cass Tech 2015 RB Mikey Weber.
Hopefully this helps us make up a bit of ground. Scum and tOSU seem to be out front as of now.

I heard CT's big 2015 recruits, Weber and Campbell aren't as interested in Michigan as most CT kids are.
When will the services actually start putting out initial rankings on 2015 kids? September?
Possibly, but others have sung the same tune in the past and still end up down the road. Regardless, I definitely hope that's not the case.
We've gotten highly touted kids from Cass two years in a row now, now the new recruits have Cass Tech alums to show them around campus and talk up MSU. That's quite a big breakthrough for us
Now with a PhD in Applied Llama Physics...
Finley could potentially help us at Cass in a similar way to how Antonio Smith helped our bball team in Flint...
Would love to have Drake and Finley secure Michael Weber for us. 2015 is a big year for recruiting at Cass Tech.

laconophilia is everywhere...
Pretty sure you mean Antonio Smith. Hutson is from Ohio. But I agree with the broader point.
Cass is becoming increasingly harder for both UM and MSU to recruit. OSU, ND, FL, and now USC are setting up shop. Competition will be tight for our in-state schools. Best of luck.

Weber reported on his Twitter he plans to visit Michigan State on Tuesday.
Same with Gary Hosey.
I understand this is the weber thread but I really hope we don't underestimate Hosey. To me he's almost a must have. Maybe the most versatile player on the CT roster. Also loved his twitter post last week about making teams pay for sleeping on him. Couldn't help thinking that was in response to coach D giving a talk to their team and offering a bunch of SO players after we've already taken Deon Drake from the 14' class.
Glad that we're talking to them so quickly after their OSU visit.
Yeah, I watched their playoff game against Saline, and Hosey looked like the better back/reciever. He's definitely someone I would want playing for Michigan State.
Visited Michigan State today for spring practice.

Any updates on where his recruitment stands or how msu stands?
This is effing annoying. Stop bumping recruit threads. If there's an update, it'll be here.
