I was wrong about T Rob.
Don't know how I missed the last 3.
Sorry to be the one to say it, but guys, back to 2014 recruiting. There are other threads for the other stuff.
Linthicum did not get an invite, Trenton did.
Yeah, you're right.
Sent a new link to the chart to Braintrust. No big changes, added a couple players, plus added the 24/7 ratings to the 2014 kids.
Awesome. Here's the link, OP is updated too.
Have you tried using Dropbox? You could change the document from your word and it'll update automatically. Just a suggestion
Michigan's DL coach just jumped ship to be DL coach at Oklahoma. Could help us out a bit with McDowell and Marshall. He was one of their best recruiters IIRC

Thoughts on Drake Harris' visit to UM today? I saw there was a pic of him on twitter with a couple of their commits and targets. I think it would be a huge recruiting win keeping him in the Green and White. I would be bothered if he went to Alabama, but I'd be pretty damn pissed if we lost him to OSU or scUM.
Haha, that's funny. They're always the ones that make fun of the Narduzzi rumors and say how he should leave to a more "prestigous" school to help him get a HC job and all that bullcrap. It's pretty telling when you leave for another school for the same position.
For what it's worth, Michigan isn't his recruiting zone so it probably won't effect much there. It will come into play a lot more with any out of state players we both go after.
It is a pretty crappy loss though.

Do you mean crappy as in it won't affect them that much or crappy as in he will be missed?
Coaches who can outline plays on a black board are a dime a dozen. The ones who win get inside their player and motivate.
Odd a guy like Montgomery would leave for a lateral college coaching position. Things not well in Ann Arbor?
A friend of mine is a former player there and as he tells it Mattison and Montgomery did not get along at all. Take it fwiw
Montgomery isn't a big loss for them. Hoke and Mattison are both DL coaches so if there was any position coach that they were ok with leaving, it was DL.
That would be an understatement.
Supposedly Montgomery was a key recruiter. You know, Mattison is also a historical job hopper having avg no more than 2-3 years per gig. Could be an interesting year in AA if they don't at least make the B1G CG.
Pretty good recruiter.
But recruiting to UM is honestly not that hard....I don't think they'll suffer too much for it.
Oaklahoma is a step up from michigan. They have 7 national titles since 1950. michigan has 1. But I get your point, he isn't moving up in role to D coordinator.
I think mattison has a family connection to aa. But I don't think he coaches more than 3-4 more years there.
I get what your saying but from a technical standpoint, we've won or shared I think 5 since 1950 and we wouldn't be considered one of the 5 programs that come to mind when you say "college football". When we saw them play elite teams over the last 5-8 years they look as bad as anyone. Stoops hasn't exactly converted the recruiting to NC's lately. If anything I'd say they were headed the opposite direction as far as perception goes.
It is however notable that scUM wouldn't give him the $100,000 pay bump to stay. They've spent like crazy the last few years and to lose your best recruiter over what some of us make in a year is weird. Pretty sure Dave Brandon could find $100k in change laying around that joint. Oh well, score one for the good guys.

they couldn't find that money to send the Marching Band to Dallas
UMAA just picked up an OL from Florida. The strong arm tactics this last weekend must have paid off. I'm not sure why any OL would go there since they've taken a ton of OL in the last two classes alone, but whatever.
I'm taking a positive stance on this since we need OL in this class and we weren't even targeting this kid. Less competition for the guys we've identified as plan As.
Talked about this on the Blue Board.. UM probably taking 3 OL.. Cole, Doles and Bars seems to be most likely candidates and none have MSU offer.
Didn't you hear? All o line recruits get immediate playing time over there. Lol
Now with a PhD in Applied Llama Physics...
