Collins didnt do anything to help his stock this year. I guess he had a leg injury but his grades are a huge issue too.
Interesting on Stewart. There seem to be a lot of 2014 QBs that will push him for best in the state.
BTW, I guess this invites more downvotes. Can't make a post without getting one. Pretty exciting.
Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.

Is it ok to ask what's going on with FHH's academics? First Burbridge and now Collins? I don't live in MI, but I thought FHH was a pretty decent school?

FPS is pretty good, but most of the athletes at Harrison dont care to keep up with grades. The better schools usually means more work if you arent paying attention in class. There was also rumors going on a couple years ago that Harrison's coach would pull kids from Detroit into Harrison.
Harrison is the worst academic wise of the 3 FPS high schools (Not counting farmington central, the alternative learning high school)

Kind of weird that he's supposedly a stud Pro-Style QB and there are 2 in-state schools who run pro-style O's . . . . and he's not likely to get an offer from either. Could be interesting to see how things shake out with Henderson (Narduzzi staying is going to play a big role in that).

FWIW, I heard our coaches are much higher on DCD QB Wiegers and I think they are looking at another MI QB more closely than Stewart. I think the kid maybe very overrated or there are some other issues going on.
I forget, are you a UM or MSU guy? (not a flame, the non-obvious handles confuse me from time to time

I was just reviewing the Drake Harris Football Profile on 247 and it has Tom Izzo listed as the recruiter. I thought this was totally awesome. I busted a gut that this is just how awesome Izzo is.
How many other football recruits have ever committed based on their conversations with the basketball coach?
Looking forward to 247 updating their ratings on Drake. We are listed as the number 9 or 10 class nationally in the 2014 cycle(Meaningless right now) and Harris will likely be a solid 5 star, and I believe Bullough will receive a bump in his ratings from the other services.

Harris will probably go up to a 96-97 or so, with a shot at a 5-star rating; he's going to push McDowell for "#1 player in the State" honors.
Dion Drake won't probably change too much.
Bullough will probably be an 87 3-star on 247. He's a 3-star on Scout (though he is a "Scout 300" member). Riley was also an 87 3-star.

Nice write 2014 write up on tBB, unfortunately not a lot of love for the Green and White. Harris looked to be the only one we have a shot at of the big names and Drake was listed in the honorable mentions along with Brian Allen. Didn't see much else we have a legit shot at, anyone know the latest on Jeff Jones the top100 Minn. running back?
