Anthony Soloman has "coincidentally" been at the gym working with his son, the same time D has been working out. Soloman is an assistant coach for ND and their lead recruiter for Jackson. I know Jackson is their #1 target. Also after talking with his trainer, Kansas has been showing quite a bit of interest.

The only problem with this is that if Jones is as good as advertised he might only be around for a year or two. Not getting Jackson could hurt us down the line if that were to happen because he doesn't look like a guy that would be leaving early.

I'll be a fan of this kid wherever he ends up. He seems to have a really good head on his shoulders and is a high character kid...To me he seems like an Izzo type of player, in one of his interviews he said his greatest strength is his leadership ability. I understand why we would be cooling on him just because it would be so hard to pass up on a kid like Tyus Jones, even if it is only for a year or two.

I don't unde rstand this sentiment.
Kids with one-and-done talent come every year. Why would you worry about the "after" if you're getting a bona fide stud? If anything, it'll show high-level recruits MSU is a place that reloads every year or two, boosting Izzo and as another strong pre-NBA option. Landing Tyus is no cause for concern in any way.
That being said, Demetrius or Tyus would be great fits in EL.
