Thanks for the update, Sean. Glad we offered him. I know it's really early but where do you think he'll end up? Also, out of the quality big men that we are interested in/offered, (Tommy Hamilton Jr, Woodson, Okafor, and Alexander) who would you most like to see at MSU?

In terms of MSU's chances on big men, I'd say Cliff is at the top.

He would be a great fit. A defense first big who can score. Remember he would play with Gauna, Costello, Kaminski & 2013(Hamilton or Woodson). So we would need an athletic defensive guy.

6'8 center? I suppose he's still a couple years away but I want a 7'6 center!

It seems like Parker is one and done. In 2013 we lose Nix, and Payne in 2014. However, Parker can play the four so we can hold out in 13' and take two bigs in 2014.
So get Parker plus Young (since he will play wing and Parker in the front court, and he will stay beyond 13-14') in 2013 and go for Okafor, Jones & Alexander in 2014!

2014 Harris was Drake Harris. I we do recruit well, we will see a lot of kids leave early. I think that is why Izzo is on the hunt of late.

Michigan State coach Tom Izzo is at 2014 five-star Chicago (Ill.) Curie forward Cliff Alexander's game today against Bowman Academy.
Last week Alexander told Spartan Tailgate that MSU is his early leader. Alexander visited MSU for Midnight Madnes and the Michigan game the weekend of October 14-16.
The 6-foot-9, 230-pound sophomore holds offers from MSU, Connecticut, DePaul, Florida State, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Louisville, Missouri, Ohio State, Tennessee and Wisconsin. Alexander has already visited MSU, Louisville, DePaul, Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa and Indiana.
