"Michigan State signee Dwaun Anderson had 21 points and 17 rebounds for Suttons Bay, which beat Leland 89-65."
Pretty strong game for Dwaun. I love seeing those rebounding figures from anyone but especially from a 6'4" guard. It bodes well...

The impressive rebounding streak continues...
Thanks for the updates!
I must be crazy to be in a loony bin like this.
12 points in a triple OT loss to Benzie Central on Thursday night.
His future as a Spartan may be in doubt. It is unfortunate that a person his age has to deal with such devastating family/personal issues. I pray that Dwaun will be able to find a satisfactory resolution to his situation and will be able to use his great basketball talent to future success as either a Spartan or some other step to a rewarding career.

So what's going on he's taking a year off? I know he had a family death which was hard...best wishes to the kid.
Doesn't look it's a year-off deal. Something is fishy...

This seems to put into question the veracity of the publicized explanation for Dwan leaving MSU. It never quite rang true. Or perhaps taking a tour of campuses all over the eastern USA, takes his mind off from the unfortunate death of his mother.
I'm sure there's more to this story than what the writer is letting on. I don't think that he would intentionally try to get out of his LOI with MSU. If that was true then he would be doing us a favor... because that would mean he's stupid.
Like I said... I don't think there's anything "fishy" going on here.
He'll never play a game in a MSU jersey.
You think maybe he has no ties to the state of Michigan? Maybe has family in the East? An 18 year old lost his mom...fanatics its a game, Don't be that guy!!
Per Jeff Goodman, DA has committed to Wagner.
Best of luck to the young man.
Anyone. Anyplace. Anytime.
What happened tho? how did MSU lose a kid like that? to Wagner of all schools? Is his uncle or relative a coach for that team?
CBS Sports is reporting that Wagner coach Dan Hurley has accepted the head job at Rhode Island.
Gotta feel for Dwaun, with personal issues leading to his transfer to Wagner — now the coach that brought him there jumps ship. No ill will towards the kid, just hope he's able to make some good out of the situation.
If the new coach was the assistant that recruited Anderson it may still be a happy ending.
"Wagner has promoted assistant men's basketball coach Bashir Mason, making him the youngest head coach in Division I at age 28, the school said Monday."

he would be great to have right now
He's the 8th leading scorer on Wagner. Maybe when Trice was out, but I don't know about now.
Not sure, but I think him leaving opened up a spot for Gary Harris. I think we're good.
Thanks for the update and the link... Either way... I really wish Dwaun the best.. Very unfortunate, to say the least, about losing his mother and i only can hope he gains some normalcy and continues to be able to grow on and off the court...
Its five o'clock somewhere.
Wagner is playing Penn State right now:
Dwaun played only a couple minutes in the first half, shooting 0-3.
The Dwaun thing is still one of the weirder recruiting results I've seen.
