Clint Jackson, the Duke version of Kilbridge has his fav % (based on 10 being 100%) below. He said if Parker commits today it would be to Duke.
But he will take his last 2 visits. Jackson is a pretty well respected insider so it does not look good for us...nor with Jones.
Jabari Parker - 7.0
Tyus Jones - 9.5
Jahlil Okafor - 8.5
Theo Pinson - 8.0
Justise Winslow - 2.5
Mickey Mitchell - 3.0
Elijah Thomas - 5.5
Precisely, a day later he came back with we'll that's today and this is going to drag out so anything can happen.
Doesn't look good.
Too hard to tell. A week ago I thought he was a lock to us but every day that goes by he doesn't commit to duke plays in our favor. These kids always dig their visits and their complimentary comments always seem to sway the fanbase right after.
Is Jackson really a Duke guy? I'm pretty sure I remember him being all UNC during the the Roe recruitment and his main source was a UNC assistant coach. He may be right on those guys but I would be surprised if he's getting legit info from anyone close to Parker, Jones, Okafor, etc (midwest kids).
Parker has been so tight lipped throughout the process I don't think anyone has had much from him to date.
Jackson is an ACC guy. He has been an NC reporter in the past as well.
Lately he seems to be a Duke reporter
Interesting. One thing I will say is that Duke insiders have been off recently with many of Duke's top targets. Way off actually.
Not sure if the link attached or not, but according to this ESPN article Jabari Parker has no favorite and is letting the process play out before making any decisions.
Either this website doesn't exist or is not currently available.
Is the consensus that he will commit to a school in December and sign in the spring or will he wait till the spring to make the call?
The consensus is he will commit in December after he has finished all 5 visits but with his recruitment I wouldn't be surprised if it dragged out for awhile.
Really good read on the overall recruitment.
Roy Schmidt is the analyst who rebuked the Sun Times tweet last week.
Anyone. Anyplace. Anytime.
From Jeff Borzello...not sure how credible this guys is
10:15 a.m.: From @onlinerailbird: Michigan State likely to get involved with any of those 15? Believe they have 2 ships open.
Well, they're heavily involved with Jabari Parker, as I'm sure you know. In fact, I predict the Spartans will land Parker. I doubt they would get involved at this stage with any of the other remaining prospects, as they are all pretty much set with their school lists. In 2014, expect them to make a huge run at Cliff Alexander -- they could be the favorites to land him.
Continue to come back here for all the latest news on the first day of the early signing period.

Borzello is a good national analyst. Not at Telep or Daniels level, but good. Right now, he's guessing on Jabari like everyone else.
Per his mom, he will decide/announce in December, and wait until Spring to sign.
Parker, who plays for Chicagos Simeon Career Academy, is ranked a four-star prospect and the No. 2 small forward in the nation by Scout.com. He has made official visits to Michigan State, Duke and Florida.
laconophilia is everywhere...
Let's say that Parker chooses Duke.... and I can honestly see either or both Dawsen and Harris going pro after this year. We are going to be left holding our dick in the cold with a short roster next year.
If Parker chooses to go to Michigan State would Any of the current players desire to leave early? Not in my opinion.
If Parker chooses to go to Michigan State, I have not seen anything yet that makes me think the skill sets of Appling Payne Harris or Dawson are ready for the NBA. We will not have an empty cupboard, we will have an extra scholarship for the 2014 class. That is a worst case scenario in my mind.
If both Dawson and Harris go pro after this season, it is because they had monster seasons. If BOTH have monster seasons, we prolly have another NC. so I think I'll be OK with holding my pecker in the cold, with a third title on the shelf at the Breslin.
My Blood Runs Green.....
Just throwing my 2 cents out there I guess, maybe we go
Also have Kearney who is 6'5", and Byrd too.
I agree though, let's hope for the best and they want to come back and win another NC!
Shut the f up this should only be about J Parker also appling is staying at of it gives him his best chance to go pro, Gary isn't gonna leave not strong enough for the NBA, and my homie Dawson needs to improve his defense he loses his guy to much and his shooting. After next year appling, Jabari, hary garris, and Dawson could all go pro if they stay healthy and improve!! If Payne got stronger and more skilled I'd include him!! But keep this for thread strictly for Jabari
Ps we could win a national championship this year and next if we get Jabari
How many times have you seen defense played in the NBA? Hell Kobe Bryant said and I quote "In the entire tenure of Phil Jackson's coaching career he ran all of 3 defensive drills."
None of them score like Kobe n when the pistons won it was bc defense
Pistons won because of defense because they didn't have a strong enough offense to get by with little defense
Pros aren't looking for a guy who is a strong defensive guard to draft. They want a scorer
Why exactly is there a discussion going on about Dawson's defense in the Jabari Parker thread?
Any word on Jabari's foot. There was some concern he would miss the start of Simeon's season.
Looks like Parker visit to BYU will be after Thanksgiving and then he will have one more to Stanford. Wants to avoid 5 straight weeks of travel.
Foot will be examined next week to see if ok to play.
Duke rumor was knocked down again by Sonny...said if Jabari was sure he would not take more visits
Sounds like mid December for verbal
