I think returning 11 of 12 guys is a GOOD thing. We might snag a graduate senior like Wood...
Izzo will always get players. Just he isn't going to win every battle with a Duke or a UNC.
2014, with all the spots available, with all the kids that are showing signs of going green already, could line up to be an epic class.
not absurd, not meant to say izzo can't get any players...just pointing out that jabari was "lining up to go green" according to many and it is entirely possible the same scenario will play out with these others...I'm mostly speaking to things from Izzo's frustration point of view, I can't ever remember Izzo going after this many high profile recruits seemingly in the absence (i'm no insider so maybe you have info I don't) of sure-fire plan Bs...it's just a thought, a pontification if you will
Don't think he's ever beaten Duke for a recruit
Oops----you be wrong again.
Jabari just said on ESPN 1000 that he is being hit with a lot of hateful messages from fans of the schools he didn't pick. That is pretty pathetic. People are morons.
I wouldn't consider a single one of those "epic" 2014 kids an MSU lean.
I would consider most of them Duke Blue, because of Parker. Tyus and Jahlil I beliee will end up at Dook now. I thought if we had gotten Parker that the monster 2014 class would have happened, but now I think that's gone. I think we have a possibility of gettin Cliff, it's between us and UK, and we have a grest player already in Drake Harris. It's could be rough if you expect to get Tyus and Jahlil
How many contests have they had for a recruit? How many of those contests have been in recent years when Izzo has been more fully recognized as one of the best there is?
Any conversation about who's the best college coach involves Izzo.
When you look at NCAA tourney winning percentages it's always Izzo and Coach K.
The guy's already a legend and will be MSU basketball's Bo Schembechler or what ever other legend you want to say.
Losing a recruit to Coach K diminishes nobody because that guy is also a living legend.
We'll see. You can doubt Izzo if you like but he is a great recruiter and will hit often enough.
One thing we have learned is that all fan bases have their twittards.
I don't doubt Izzo so much as I truly appreciate what he's up against.
My point exactly in another thread. It could be devastating to the program if they miss on all their top targets for the second year in a row.
It's an odd coincidence that this is the first reply in the thread considering Jabari's parting shot.
Teo, you are biggest jackass in the history of jackasses.
You are a bad combo: attacking, uninformed and arrogant.
You want the source about Lolas calls?
Give you a hint-it cam from mods on THIS site.
Are u sufficently embarassed now or do want more?
Check mate ..man that was easy, my 11 yr old could have taken you out. LOL
One more thing, Randle and Poneman stuck to their guns...they were wrong. I reported their tweets because it was up in the air. They tweeted...the source is their tweets you idiot

Why is this thread not locked?
Amen. Lock the thread.
Let's worry about kids who want to come to Michigan State.
