Cowering in fear of other programs isn't the way things are done around here.
Anyone. Anyplace. Anytime.
Sounds like vacation time this fall is going to be sparse.

Golden State's GM recently called Draymond Green the best prepared player he's ever seen in an NBA draft.
And yet, despite comments like these, Cliff Alexander's AAU coach thinks he'll be better off playing for a very average coach in Calipari.
I believe that Cliff Alexander is smart enough to pick the school that will benefit him the most in the long-run.
Golden State's GM also hasn't drafted any of Calipari's old players either. Just saying.
Article indicating Florida and Memphis are in the mix. The good news is he mentions MSU is still working the hardest.
As the 2013 class heads into the home stretch, a strong group of 2014 interior prospects is next in line at the podium. One such prospect is talented big man Cliff Alexander, the 2011 NY2LA Sports Futures Camp MVP who’s seen his recruiting stock soar over the past 12 months. We caught up with the talented big man earlier this week…
As he continues to add offers from some of the Nation’s top basketball programs, Chicago (Ill.) Curie 2014 Center Cliff Alexander remains wide open at this point in his recruitment. A consensus top 5 prospect nationally, Alexander is considering the likes of Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisville, Memphis, Michigan State, Missouri, Ohio State, and Tennessee among many others but he says no front runners have emerged.
“Everything’s going good right now,” Alexander said. “Just taking everything in. I like everybody right now. I’m still considering all the offers.”
Alexander’s most recent offer came from Head Coach Billy Donovan and the Florida Gators. Donovan has been pushing hard to get the 6-9 forward on campus.
“It was a great offer,” said Alexander. “I think Coach Donovan is a great coach. They’re trying to get me down there before the summer ends, but maybe next year.”
This summer, Alexander added an offer from John Calipari and the defending National Champion Kentucky Wildcats.
“It was exciting,” he said. “It was an exciting moment for me. Coach Calipari gets players to the league.”

Alexander said he currently has two visits in the works for this fall.
“I might go to Memphis for Midnight Madness,” said Alexander. I’ve been talking to Coach (Josh) Pastner. He’s a great guy. I just want to go down there and see how it is.
“Sometime this month I think I might take a visit to Kentucky.”
Alexander added that he’d like to visit Florida, Kansas, Louisville, and Ohio State this fall as well.
Once Alexander’s early leader, Michigan State continues to press the hardest for his services, according to the Illinois prospect.
“The hardest right now I’d say is Michigan State,” he said
Make No Doubts about it... STATE is STILL in the Drivers seat

2 Chicago prospects, 2015 PG Hyron Edwards and (tentatively) 2014 PF Cliff Alexander set to visit MSU for the Eastern Michigan game.

Would be amazing to lock up Cliff now, would have been ideal to get him and Jabari to next week's game together for osu. But a good sign nonetheless.
Cliff is the real deal. Also wouldn't surprise me if we offered Edwards this weekend. He's a top 3 pg in 2015.
I love how it said "once his early leader" in regards to MSU, as if he's ever said we were anything but.
Where does Michigan State stand with the Curie big man?
“I love them still.”

I heard that J.Paker and C.Alexander would like to play together in college. If so I like our chances here...
From Cliff himself:
Cliff Alexander @humblekid11
"im going to make my college decision my senior year"
Cliff is a junior right now. Looks like we shouldn't expect a decision for a while. All indications seem to be that this remains a two-horse race between MSU and Kentucky.
How can they play together if Parker is playing only 1 yr and that year is 2013.
CLiff doesnt get there until 2014.
Are u hearing Parker wants to play in college for 2 yrs?
Who wouldn't like to play with Jabari Parker in College?
Why does everyone insist that Parker, where ever he plays, will be a 1 and Done? Has he said that? No, he hasn't... Obviously his talent level says that he will be a one and done, but lots of guys have stayed their 2nd year.... Needless to say speculating on when a guy is going to declare for the NBA, when he hasn't even played his senior year in high school is kind of pointless.
And on Top of that, most of the guys from Chicago have a bond, and if STATE or duke sign's Parker it will have a HUGE effect on recruiting Cliff and the rest of the Chicago mega recruits in 14' and beyond... That said, Parker is a game changer and can be a huge catalyst for STATE recruiting going forward.
I might be mistaken but I thought I remember reading that Jabari's dad said he'd go pro right out of HS if possible.
I think his dad said that jabari would enter the draft whenever he is considered a top 5 pick, and if he could go straight out of high school and be top 5 he would.
Final FourU @MSUfinalfouru
Sad to report but Michigan State's loss to Connecticut was not good for recruiting according to our Chicago source.
Wow. Guess it's time to give up. What an unimpeachable source.
I wouldn't out a schtick on tRCMB, but I will here. That account is just a poster trolling.
So STATE had to go undefeated to sign any of the Windy City guys....
Obviously all loses hurt recruiting but this was hardly a deal breaker
@nysparty1 I suspect if we beat Kansas on Tuesday that it would go a long way in erasing that disappointing loss to Connecticut.

I wonder what a big ten title and deep tourney run will do for recruiting in 4 months.
Not as much as DayDay having a good rookie season would.
