im sure Cliff liked that baby!! and it will be huge for us right?
From Cliff himself:
-Cliff Alexander @humblekid11
"they want me to commit to kentucky so bad but nah i aint gone it"
Not sure exactly what this means, but it definitely affirms the kind of pressure he's receiving to commit to Kentucky.
I am only guessing but with the type of classes UK is pulling in they can basically threaten top kids to commit or lose their spot. It looks like UK will have towns in 2014 (reclassify) so they are likely telling Cliff they will only take one more front court player. I like his tweet because it appears he's saying. "Back off, I'll commit when I'm ready". At least that is my twitter translation.
It is pretty well known that everyone around him is pushing for UK. It's hard to argue with Cal's recent track record. Just have to hope that Cliff's relationship with Izzo wins out.
I think he meant I ain't done it, A's in they are pushing me to commit but so far, I haven't.
"As far as the downvotes. It's a gnat biting an lion"
-- A member of tRCMB Justice League, taking the internet WAY WAY too seriously.
it'd be great if Tre Lyles, the IU decommit, committed to UK and filled up their frontcourt.

The problem with UK is, on paper, the front court may be close to being full but in 18 months they may need 2-3 more players. Noel, Cauley-Stein, Wiljer, and all the 2013 kids may be in the league by the fall of 2014.
Cal can't have a solid plan because he can't predict from one year to next who will be on the roster. No one has ever really had to navigate these waters so there is no blueprint. If kids get hurt, or underperform, he may get burned with an over signing issue. I'd hate for that to happen to the kids but it would be fun to see the sleaze ball have to tell a couple 5 stars to walk.
According to Roy Schmidt.. Dane Fife in Chicago tonight to watch cliff
HUGE for Cliff and MSU if true. RT @IllianaAAU Rumors Cliff Alexander will leave the D-Rose All-Stars to play with the Mac Irvin Fire.
Josh is with The Only Colors. Obviously the D-Rose All-Stars have been pushing for Kentucky for quite some time. This would relieve some of the pressure.
"Tonight, we show the world what this program is made of!" -- Brian Ellerbe on Mar 4, 2000, the night of scUM's 51-point loss to MSU.
Yeah, the source of the original tweet, Chip Sylvie, shot back at me that the D-Rose All-Stars people aren't pushing Alexander to UK. To that, I offer a massive "RIIIIIIIIIGHT..."
This would put 3 of our biggest targets for the next couple years on the same aau team. It couldn't hurt having them play together and talking all year
Karl Towns commitment to UK, must help MSUs recruitment of Cliff Alexander.
Why exactly? Towns is a 15 recruit, Alexander is a 14. Its not like Cliff is expecting 0 other really good big men to be on Kentucky's squad if he wen there.
Towns reclassified to 2014.
It had been a wonderful evening and what I needed now, to give it the perfect ending, was a little of the Ludwig Van.
Towns reclassified to 2014 and it will for sure have a direct impact on Cliff's recruitment....
Chip Sylvie @IllianaAAU
Staying with D-Rose for Cliff? RT @DRoseAllStars: Want to thank @humblekid11 for how loyal of a kid he is. He will reap blessing from it...
Not good. This recruitment is starting to smell...
Just have hope that his relationship with Izzo wins out. Not much else this staff can do, they have put in the work.

He will reap blessing from it? uh oh.
Reap blessing from it? What the hell does that mean?
Interesting stuff from CSNChicago.com. Alexander, Okafor, and Jones...a package deal? That would work for MSU.
"Curie's 6-foot-9 Cliff Alexander and Whitney Young's 6-foot-11 Jahlil Okafor are best of friends. "We are close, like brothers," Alexander said. They also are two of the top four or five high school basketball players in the nation in the class of 2014, maybe 1-2.
They'd like to go to college together, which would be the equivalent of landing Wilt Chamberlain and Bill Russell in the same recruiting class. The odds of that happening, according to Alexander, are 7 out of 10. Both are being recruited by Kentucky, Michigan State, Illinois, DePaul, North Carolina State, Ohio State and Wisconsin.
"Michigan State and Kentucky are the ones I like most, also Baylor," Alexander said. "I want to get an offer from UCLA, also North Carolina. I would like to consider them. But I haven't heard from them. It bothers me a little bit."
Like Okafor, he has no timetable for making a decision. "I will commit after next season. I'm not paying attention to the recruiting process now. I'll think about it at the end of this season. I want to focus on this season," Alexander said.
Curie's Cliff Alexander is one of the top recruits in the country out of the class of 2014. This season, he's ready to pick up his offensive game and lead Curie to a successful season on the court.
Exactly Cliff has said all along MSU and UK are the favorites...no mention of IU here.
COS I don't doubt the IU guys, but I think IU is late to this party. I have no doubt however he will give them a look.
